The color of this dress is beautiful in person and stands out in a sea of black but still felt formal. I especially loved the neckline however the top of my dress was a bit stretched out so the scalloped lace on top was pulled. RTR offered to send a replacement but one was not available in the size and length needed, they did over night another back up option free of charge. I did my best of pinning the sides because I lvoed the dress and really wanted to wear it despite the top being too large. The rest of the fit of the dress was perfect. I felt amazing wearing it and received compliments all night, two women added it to their "next rent" list for upcoming events. I wore three inch black heels and the long length was definitely needed.

The fabric of this gown is beautiful, much nicer in person than showed in the picture, the gold threads really sparkle. I did not wear the dress because the top was too big. Had I had enough time to get a front bra with some padding I may have been able to pull it off though. The back comes very low so even a full line low back bra will not work, you will need to go bra-less or wear a stick on front only bra. I tried it with three inch heels and the length was perfect. There is a small train though so would have to be careful not to trip when dancing.

I adored this dress and had planned to wear it for months before the event. After reading all the reviews I decided to change to a 8L, I am only 5'5 and heels 2 inches but figured I could always get a higher heel if too long. The dress was unfortunately still too short. I ordered a size 10 regular as my back up size and it was a little large up top, thought to exchange for 10L but it was not available. I did not get to wear this gown but wish I had, it is stunning!
