I wore this for a evening outdoor August wedding. I just had a baby so I am still carrying my extra pounds so I wanted a dress that was flattering but hide all my sins! It's a bit high waisted so it's wonderful to hide a belly and it's flows at the hips so it's flattering if you are a bit hippy. I ordered the 10R and 12R but the 10R fit great! In my opinion, it's true to size. Another bonus is I am 5'4 and was able to wear sandals with the dress and it hit the floor. I did hold it up a bit when I walked/danced but it was not a problem. I received many compliments on the dress and would definitely rent again! It's definitely one of my favorites!

I ordered the dress for a wedding. I am 5 months pregnant and needed something with an empire waist. I did not wear this dress only because I realized I wouldn've been too dressed up! I definitley recommend this dress if you need it for an event that you want to be a stand out and stylish. I use to be a 4 before being pregnant and am now a 6/8 with a ample bosom! This dress accomdated my ample bosom (36D) and bump. Once my kid is born I want to find an event to showcase this dress!

It's hard for me to rate this with stars since I did not wear the dress. I am 5 months pregnant and ordered this dress for a wedding. I ordered the wrong size thinking I needed something big. The dress was way too big and I could've ordered down. I did not end up wearing the dress but agree with the other reviewers and recommend, regardless if you are preggos or not ordering a size down. I wish it fit since it was nice stylish dress. The top is black and the bottom is a different material, more of a satin dark navy. The picture makes it look all black but it's not. I do recommend the dress, but order 1 to 2 sizes down.

I am usually a 4/6, but I was 3 mths preggos when I rented the dress. I choose the 6 and it worked out well! It was for a boat cruise and since the fabric is a bit heavy, it worked for the cool Boston May nights. I would rent this dress again. Very flattering on a curve shape. The arms fit well and the chest area was great for my increasing breast size!

I found wearing the M dress was a bit form fitting for my taste and not as flattering on my frame. I instead used the slip from the size L dress with the M dress and it worked better. This dress does fit better on someone who has fuller chest area. I needed a push up bra to fill the cups. Overall good dress, but probably better for someone who has a bigger chest size.
