Not quite the right fit
I really loved the silhouette of this gown and wanted to love it on me, but it just wasn’t meant for someone with a short torso. I had to fold the neck over a couple times to (1) make it fit more flattering on my torso and (2) make sure the “girls” didn’t fall out! Also, it was long, so better to wear heels with it, although I couldn’t last all night in heels, so I did put on flats at the reception. With the slit, it was easier to walk with the flats, but still not ideal. I don’t think I could have gone down in size either, because I needed to 12 to fit around my waist.

Way too big
I feel like in other brands that use this sizing, I wear a 29/30. Neither of those were available, so I ordered the 31 and they were HUGE! No belt could have concealed how large these were around the waist, not to mention all the extra material in the thigh/butt area. Would love to see how a 29 would fit, because these look super cute! Considering trying the smaller size for a future event, but these did not work this time around.

I wish I had a photo in this dress - it was so elegant and perfect for the event!
I went with the larger size for comfort - I knew I'd be dancing at this wedding!! Wore with a strapless bra. A little heavy with all the details, but very comfortable for the cooler weather in the Vermont mountains. Will definitely consider this dress again for another wedding - and will make sure to get a full length photo this time!

A beautiful day for an afternoon wedding!
I am in love with this dress!! As mentioned in other reviews, it is a deeper green than the picture shows, but I got so many compliments on how beautiful it was. I debated about which size to wear, but my sister actually thought the 10 looked tighter. The 8 fit beautifully and hugged my curves in all the right spots. It was also super comfortable for an afternoon wedding outside in the south!
