I actually ordered this dress for my daughter to wear to Winter Formal. The 4 looked great on her but was just a little too snug around her waist to be comfortable (it actually sits above the waist on the rib cage), and the 6 was simply too large across the shoulders for her petite frame. Thankfully, we had an event the following day and the 6 fit me perfectly so I didn’t have to return the dress unworn! Notes: I am usually a size 4. Size up to accommodate the snug waist. The dress plunges in the front and ties in the back, just below the bra line. You’ll need a plunging sticky/backless bra or silicone cups. No pockets (bummer). Because the dress has shoulder pads, I think it looks better on a tall frame.

She loved the pockets for keeping her ID and phone in, and the just-above-the-knee length meant she didn’t have to worry about it riding up while she danced.

This little beauty was perfect for my daughter's Homecoming dance. It fit perfectly true to size. The fabric is richly textured with a lovely bit of delicate black lace along the neckline. Not too low cut. Has pockets (always a plus). It is quite short. My daughter is around 5'6" - she wears a lot of short skirts, so I was perplexed at the comment. Perhaps it's the voluminous skirt? Anyway, she loved it. Had many compliments.

After spending 3 afternoons searching for a homecoming dress for my daughter, we found this gem. Not too fancy - not too casual. Not too short - not too long. A little low cut for a 15 year old, but not awful (my husband didn't complain). It appears to run a little small. My daughter normally wears a 2 and I am a consistent 4. I couldn't even get this over my head. But it was perfect on her. Snug enough that she didn't need a bra, nor did she need tape to hold it on. Length was just right: she's 5'6" and it hit her about mid-thigh. It has pockets - bonus! The copper color is just gorgeous. It's got a lovely metallic sheen.
