Super cute with the matching top. Thick, stretchy material, so it hides what you wanna hide while showing what you wanna show. Only complaint was it gapped/sat on my lower back a little oddly, but it's something only I would notice. Overall super cute, flattering, stretchy, and comfy. I wore it with long-ish boy shorts as undies. If you wanna wear shapewear, you definitely could as long as it is short enough that you won't see it where the thigh slit is.
