Classy but not boring
This was comfortable and looked classy, without being boring or frumpy. It is not very thick, and you need a slip because the skirt is slightly see-through.

Weird fit, lush fabric
Gorgeous color but the fit was challenging. I struggled to get it up over my arms, and I almost pulled a muscle doing the back clasp. Size up! I didn’t wear this but i think it would have needed tape in front.

Peplum is hard to pull off
I sized down based on reviews and the sizes available. It was challenging to get into this, and it was sing, but I think it was the best size for me. However, the stiff peplum hit too high on me to look good. It stuck out on the sides in a weird way. I didn’t end up wearing it because I couldn’t find a bottom that worked with it.

Very high neck
I liked the print and the fact that it has a long cord on the zipper, which helps the less-flexible to zip it. I hadn’t realized that it had such a high neckline in the front though. It was uncomfortably high on me and it looked dowdy. I didn’t wear this.

I didn’t wear this. I read all the reviews that said it’s low-cut, and I was okay with that. But I didn’t expect it to be see-through and to open in the front of the skirt!

Cute jumpsuit
This was cute and comfy, in a lightweight material. I am longwaisted and the waistline hit really high on me - the pockets were almost at my natural waist. So kind of a strange fit, but overall I'm glad I rented it.

Runs small!
Pretty dress, pure cotton. Wore it to a spring garden party. The US 2 was a UK 6 - if you know your UK sizes, you’ll know that in reality UK 6 is more like a US 0. So size up. Fortunately there’s stretch in the waist band so I was able to wear it, I just couldn’t have raised my arms up over my head.

I loved this dress so much. It’s stunning and the stretchy lace is so comfortable. I wore this to a cocktail-attire work event, so I wanted to feel fancy without showing too much skin. This was perfection.

Surprisingly thick denim, zero stretch: it’s a chambray color not a light chambray fabric. I found it chafed my thighs but it was too short to wear an undershort. It is a cute romper and I got compliments but it wasn’t the most comfortable. It runs small. I’m usually a US 4 and wore a 38.

Cute, but skirt pulled
I love Jason Wu and this was really cute for the office. The skirt pulled a bit - the lining would get stuck on my pantyhose and then the skirt would look a bit twisted. So not my overall favorite, but still a good rental.

Beware sizing conversion!
This is a gorgeous dress but I didn’t get to wear it. I was shocked when I couldn’t quite zip it. I lived in the UK for ages and a UK 8 fits like a US 2. So when RTR said it was a 2, my normal size, I ordered it. Turns out I got a UK 6. It says on the dress label that it’s UK6/US2, but that’s just not right in practice (I think the US has had more size inflation over the last few decades). I wish I had known and I would have size up. RTR, please be consistent in declaring non-US sizing so that renters can judge for themselves! I’ve ordered a 2 in LK Bennett or Boden before and received a UK8!

This dress was ridiculous. The front is thin strips of fabric. I am small busted and was almost exposing myself, but then it was also gaping in the back (pictures). There was no way I could wear this, with or without a bra.

Felt cheap
Did not like this at all. For such an expensive dress I think it should be fully lined. It's hard to tell from the photos but it has a high waist seam giving it a babydoll/skater feel. And it's quite short. Overall it looked ridiculous on me (I'm 40). Maybe okay for a much younger woman or someone very petite.

Cute, comfy sweater dress
This dress was a nice weight and kept its shape (no saggy elbows, even after 12-hour day at work). I am a 4/6 and wore a M. I probably could have gotten away with a S but the M was not too big. It was not at all scratchy which was great. Lots of compliments.

Really beautiful print. It was just the right blend of sexy, but not overly revealing, and it was quite comfortable. I liked the adjustable straps although they could have been sturdier.
