Scratchy material
Fit is nice, but material felt scratchy on my skin. Didn't feel like wearing. Because it's velvet it absorbs a lot of light, this dress also doesn't photograph with a lot of detail or visual interest. Decently heavy material with structure.

Very forgiving for belly and arms
I wore when I was more pregnant and photos from frontal view disguised my bump well. Material is light enough to be okay in 70 degree weather but also warming for slightly cooler weather. Material is okay.

Very generous to baby bump because zipper on side
Not much stretch in the top fabric but fortunately structured with pretty high waist and a zipper on the side. Comfy fabric.

Lots of stretch, I like the cut of the torso piece. Skirt is a lot of material (folded) with an underlayer so it's comfy but might take extra work moving it up/down stairs and while using the toilet

Shorter dress and waist was a little too high for my chest size
I'm fairly petite, and the dress felt a bit short on me. The back was pretty open. The material wasn't particularly nice and dried on the wrinklier side. Wore this for super casual, quick outings only.
