It’s cute, but you have to be into the oversized look
The shoulders are wide, the arms are roomy, and this is definitely designed to look oversized. I thought it was really well made (nicely finished seams, interior pocket details), but would have preferred it in a different fabric. The light gray isn’t as flattering of a color on me as a darker gray, navy, or even chocolate brown.

Cropped & Voluminous, but really cute!
It’s a Members Only type of jacket but with a feminine collar and the blouson effect that feels very on brand for APC. It is a lot of jacket but I actually really liked the volume. I was able to dress it down with workout clothes and dress it up a bit too by wearing with dresses. I actually kept it through a swap, which is not something I normally do. In the future, I would also consider renting in the size up to see if the volume is still cute or if it’s too much.

Get the set! It’s cute and fun loungewear.
I rented the set for WFH and chilling around the neighborhood. It was perfect for those things. Sizing is flexible. I was fine with my TTS size S but I could definitely get the M in a future rental for the trendy oversized look. It’s fun to try these sets out and be able to return them before I get sick of them.

RENT THE SET! Cute for WFH, quick errands around the neighborhood, etc.
My life is not fancy, but I do like to make some effort even when I WFH most days. This set was great for bumming around in and being comfortable. Sizing is flexible. I prefer to wear my TTS size S in shorts so I don’t drown in fabric, but I could definitely get away with the M as well for a more oversized look and pull the drawstring tighter. It’s fun to try these sets out and be able to return them before I get sick of them.

Really fun way to brighten up an outfit
A lot of reviews mention the stiffness these jeans. I did receive these NWT and while they were stiff at first, as I continued to wear them I could tell that they would break in nicely. I don’t find them to be uncomfortable at all, but I am very used to 100% cotton denim and prefer how it wears over time compared to most stretch denim. This is a fantastic pair for petites as well since there’s no weird knee breaks or anything. TTS for Ganni (fit very similarly to the leopard pair from spring 2025), which is a size up from what I took in the Rollas wide leg jeans in the grommets.

Tread carefully with sizing and length
This is a tricky one if you are at all petite. It have lovely crisp pleating and came NWT, so I was really hoping it would be a cute knee length pleated skirt! I ordered a size 26, and discovered that the waistband measures 32.75”. If you wear it below the waist like a mid rise jean, it could very well be too long. For me, it hits at the most unflattering part of my calf. I could wear this at my natural waist as a knee length skirt, but my waist measures around 28.25” and this skirt can’t stay up. I might try again but I would size down at least one size or even two sizes if I do so.

SIZE UP but it’s so cute if your size is available
I sized all the way up to 10 for my ribcage and chest. However, it is great dress for more formal occasions that can be dressed down with the right items. Really loved the pockets being so cavernous, which is a great perk of having a bubble skirt. AKNVAS quality is exceptional…lots of structure in the bodice and sturdily attached rosettes that hold their shape. The bubble skirt and rosettes make it feel very trendy, so I really appreciate being able to rent something like this.

Great dress with just enough personality
I wore this to a daytime event and was really pleased with it. I wore a size 8, making sure to size up since Self-Portrait has historically run quite small and I actually found it to be quite comfortable. The construction of the dress is very sturdy with a sort of built in longline bra, as well as a tulle underskirt which really does the most. For me, this dress wasn’t too overwhelming, but I could see it being a lot of dress for other petite women, so that is something worth keeping in mind.

Rented multiple times, still great each time.
If you’re at all a fan of scallop trim, pointelle, or hearts, this is a really nice cardigan to rent. Lovely fit, runs TTS, and is a very versatile cardigan for spring/fall weather. I like having it around in the summer as a nice layer when you encounter a lot of AC as well. Honestly, if the right deal were to come along I would buy this. I rarely say that about things from RTR.

It’s such a compliment magnet
The people who get this dress, really get this dress. I was able to wear it to work and the IT guys were complimenting me on how it reminded them of the 80s in the best way. Quality is really nice, with thick denim and sturdy seams, as well as a very strong zipper. I wish I could wear it everywhere but I am happy that I was able to wear it a couple of times! Also, IMO this runs as a properly tailored dress would. With my chest and ribcage I usually expect to wear a size 8 in tailored garments. (Also happens to work really well with the LoveShackFancy pointelle cardigan if you need a layer that won’t block the rosettes)

Monse doing Monse things!
If you enjoy the Monse deconstruction but want something that could be work appropriate in a creative office, this is it. I WFH most days, so I actually wore it to run errands on a hot summer days. It’s a high quality dress with amazing details, but just needs a steaming or ideally a proper ironing before wear. For designers like Monse, I tend to go up a size to accommodate my chest and shoulders. It’s a bit relaxed through the top, but this might be due to my shorter torso as well. The fit through the waist and hips was pretty much perfect.

Beautiful skirt if you get the sizing right!
This skirt is really nicely made, with a nice heft and full lining. I’m going to enjoy wearing this with a lot of fall/winter outfits. It’s helpful to know that Dunst is a Korean brand when trying to wrap your head about the sizing. I normally wear a 25/26 in jeans from Rag & Bone, Madewell, and Everlane. In this skirt I can wear an L comfortably (the size I rented), but *might* be able to squeeze into the M. This would be consistent with the sizing on their own website, as well as my experience with clothes shopping in Asia.

This dress can go to so many places!
I wore this about 5-6 times before swapping it, only because it needed to be cleaned. The puff sleeves are nicely structured so the dress is very impactful. It is a compliment magnet! POCKETS. It worked great as a farmer's market dress. I wore it out running errands. It came to Hawaii with me and made an adorable beach cover up. It would also look great at brunches. This dress is not designed to be form fitting, so if you don't like the idea of oversized dresses it might not be for you.

This is the pair of Re/Done shorts you need if you're curvy!
If other shorts don't fit you, these might be the answer! Everyone's right. These run large. I would venture to say at least one size large. The leg holes are wide enough for someone who has thicker thighs without being skintight. The waist is plenty roomy. I'm probably keeping my pair for the summer.

Are you petite? Short in the torso? This is PERFECT.
I'm 5' 3" with a curvy frame and this fit everywhere I needed. No gap at chest, enough space for my butt and thighs, and compliments from random strangers as well as my coworkers (male and female). Perfect inseam to wear with AF1 or Birkenstocks or Doc Martens. I'd buy it, but it's not cheap! I do love knowing that I can rent this whenever I feel like it.

Cute everyday summer dress, great for casual/beachy life.
This dress is made of a pretty sturdy woven cotton, more like shirting material. It's best to go without a bra. I wish it had pockets, but otherwise it's a lovely neutral summer dress. I would rent again for warm weather. Runs TTS and is meant to skim the body rather than be body-conscious.

Tiny, but cute for essentials!
I wore this to do things like FedEx drop offs, go to doctor's appointments, and go to the farmer's market. It fits my phone, a tiny bottle of hand sanitizer, and my keys that are attached to a coin purse (fits credit card, some cash, ID). It is the cutest thing ever and was a great rental for the summer, but certainly glad I could rent instead of own with RTR.

This dress is a MOOD.
It's feminine and floofy without being saccharine. Perfect!!! Honestly, if the dress was self-cleaning, I'd probably always have it in my rental spots. I got this in the larger of my two sizes mostly because that was the size available. I was able to wear it 5 times over the course of three weeks. I paired this with Cecilie Bahnsen Suicokes (Teva-like sandals) and Birkenstocks with great effect. I got compliments from people who had an eye for fashion. I'll definitely rent again and plan to wear with sneakers and combat boots when it gets colder.

It could have been cute, but not for me
Fabric was cool and I did like the fit from the waist down...I could see it being a nice dress for warm summer weather. However, the straps are so thin I nearly confused them for the hanging loops. They are very short and non-adjustable, so really only for someone with slender arms. I had trouble with both the band AND my arms feeling comfortable in the arm holes. I don't think sizing up would have helped either, as the rest of the dress draped properly.

Compliments Galore! Such a great summer dress!
I wore this to the farmer's market and for socially distanced walks. I lost count of the number of compliments I got from strangers. People would even yell "nice dress" from their cars. I opted to size up due to my chest/broad shoulders, given that the torso is fairly structured. It's a nice substantial linen dress with POCKETS. I didn't have to wear a purse because the pockets fit my wallet, keys, phone, and hand sanitizer. The longest parts of the skirt were just off the ground.

I usually wear size 6/8 dresses due to my chest/torso and already own two Anine Bing items in size M (sweatshirt and blazer). I figured I should rent my usual size M for this dress, but the amount of fabric is overwhelming on my frame. I can't wear this outside my home. I'll rent the S next time, as I really do think this is a nice easy sleeved dress. I'll probably rent this in the fall as well and wear with hiking boots.

Fanciful Cupcake Vibes, but for Everyday
I styled it similarly to how Cecilie Bahnsen shows her dresses on the runway, wearing sneakers or flat sandals to offset the fanciful nature of the tiered ruffles. It's so fun, great for summer, and such a mood booster WITH POCKETS. Quality is spot on...there's a reason why this dress costs what it does at retail. I didn't find the dress overwhelming on my frame at all. I returned it after wearing it a few times. I am *really* hoping RTR carries more Cecilie Bahnsen dresses in the future.

Comfy Housedress Mood (if your chest is small enough)
I rented this with the intent to wear it at home, while still being able to be presentable for picking up mail in the lobby and opening the door to retrieve contactless deliveries. My SO asked me where I was going all dressed up when I put it on, so that's a good sign! It's a little bit too tight in the band area (there is an elastic in the back but I actually need more give in the front), which is the only part of this dress that is fitted. Consequently, my chest is constricted in the front, loose below the band, and bulging out of the sides...However, everything else about the fit is perfect. Length is short enough to be a true midi, showing just enough lower calf/ankle to be very flattering. I will wear at home, but probably would not wear in public. If my chest was a cup size or two smaller, this dress would have been nothing short of fantastic for summer.

So much fun!!!
This is made of a windbreaker type material. I treated it like a jacket and wore it after a workout. It's kind of short (mid-thigh), but it did not bother me at all. It looks cute over leggings and on its own. I liked it with best chunky lug-sole boots or sneakers (Nike AF1 & Jordans play off the street wear vibes). Very memorable, so probably not the most practical to own, but a perfect rental. I'll definitely rent it again when the weather is in the 60-70 degree range (pretty often in LA).

It totally looks like a jacket my mom would have worn in the 90s, but that's part of the appeal. I leaned in and wore it with once with mom jeans and hiking boots. I wore it another time with as leggings and Jordan 1s. It's a bold look, but I got compliments from people who were clearly fans of streetwear/hypebeast type looks. It also served its purpose well as a rain jacket I could wear for a few days in LA and then return when I did not need it anymore.

As the other reviewers have already stated, this bag is tiny. It can fit a small/medium wallet (Louis Vuitton Victorine would be a good example), key pouch, and a small cosmetic bag. I can fit my iphone X inside, but it's a bit of a squeeze. Every time I have carried this bag around town, I have always gotten compliments on it. It looks stylish, expensive, and is substantial. Even people at luxury stores have commented on it positively, even though this bag is nowhere near the price point of an LV/Gucci. I'm so happy I can try this bag out for a month and when the seasons change I can go for something else.

Puffy Sleeves are so good!
Got tons of compliments on this one! The buttons are a pain, but absolutely worth it. I wear a size 6/8 in very structured/tailored items and was glad to have the L. No chest gap, no getting stuck in the armholes.
