Gorgeous fabric, color and fit!!!!!
This fabric is a matte cotton in a beautiful Midnight blue. Not shiny or evening but the skirt is perfect. I have a special convertible bra. This is a wrap waist (only beef is the waist sash is a little slim and different color). Has the feel of fine craftspersonship. Perfect for evening but is a cotton so be aware.

Perfect for a daytime something
I had to go to an Easter brunch at a country club, so no black allowed. This was so comfy and bright without being obnoxious. Not super flattering at the waist but not a deal breaker either. Sash at waist is long!

Detailing is beautiful. I sized down and still gigantic. I enjoyed wearing it to my nieces bridal shower but wow. It's so voluminous!

Cute but straddles day and evening possibly does neither perfectly.
I loved wearing this. But may not be great for most. A very shiny fabric that looks like leather and is more of a satin. Wrinkles a bit but I was too scared to steam. I wore this for a function but requires a certain setting (edgy casual?) to pull off. Not really flattering but my students don't care.

Great if you want a maxi dress
Alas I am too old for a dress that is both a maxi and has a ruffle neck. Pattern is gorgeous and could be right on the right person. Did not wear out which is a bummer.

Everything the other reviewers said was correct. Was big and could have been cute but if you have breasts that are over 40 years old the buckle hits in the worst place ever.

So versatile and chic!!!
This is possibly my best RTR rental ever! The color green is more on the midnight side so it's able to straddle day and evening. I wore it two days in a row -- once to give a lecture and that next night to an evening party. The waist sash is so flattering. Fabric is stiff enough to give structure and drama but still comfy to wear. Loved this. Regret not taking a picture.

This is my best RTR find yet. I wore it to two events and it was so perfect -- a little leg a little drape and great structure.

Pros: nice heavy fabric, great pockets, a low V that was not so low that could not wear to work
Cons: this was not my usual style. Not a fan of navy blue and the skirt was so long and so voluminous that it took on a life of its own. Seems too dramatic for work but too poplin and staid for a night out.

Great drape, and hem is lovely - top is a bit boxy
I pilot tested this for an event, but the top was a bit more boxy than I had wanted, so I ended up wearing this for work. with a black blazer.

Form fitting and great color. Maybe not 4 u if you're older and trying to hide the ravages of time.
Pic is a try on fresh out of shower not actual wearing. I tried this dress on for my niece's white tie wedding. I love the fabric (scuba like) and the color and the one shoulder. But, as a 50 year old could not pull the trigger because I felt too body con for my age.

My husband gasped when I put it on -- and not in a good way
Runs v large and looks like a funky bathrobe. I think I'm like 30 years too old and or 20 lbs over the ideal size to wear this. A shame because it could be super fun.

Really flattering and fun to wear.
I wore this to deliver a lecture that was being photographed for a media post. The fabric is really summery and wrinkles a bit like linen. Don't let that deter you. Color is great and fun construction at waist makes this both billowy and slimming. I will def rent again

The top cape is really quite voluminous. Could be a great dress to a day wedding in a church. May rent again if I feel like wearing blue.

Neckline is too low
Rented this for a wedding but the dress is cut way too sexy -- the neckline went down below the bottom of my deep V bralette and showed my underpants with the slit. Alas, sending it back. Color is nice and the fabric is more substantial than appears in pics.

Really nice for work
The fabric is lighter than it appears in photos. I wore with blazer and leggings. Lots of button closures. Did not gap but there is not a lot of give in the fabric if you're concerned about a thicker waist. This was my first RTR rental and I did get several compliments.
