It's a show stopper!
I absolutely loved this dress! It's so fun and made me feel like a princess. I wore it to my friend's black tie, winter wedding at the Tribecca Roooftop in NYC. I felt that the cut was flattering - I didn't have to wear spanx or anything like that under the dress because the material was so structured and flared out at the small part of my waist. There was plenty of room in the bust, which is always a concern for me as I'm a 32 DD. I'm marking this dress as running large, just because of the bust area - the rest fit true to size. It don't think I'd recommend it for someone smaller than a C cup, just because I worry that the top would gap and/or sit really low. The back of the dress is mesh so you'll have to wear a backless bra or go braless (I went braless and I felt like I was contained enough.) Overall, it was comfortable and easy to dance in. I'm 5'4" and wore 4" heels which made the 0R the perfect length. This is the third ML Monique Lhuillier brand dress I've rented through RTR and all three have fit similar to this one - and I've loved each one! So for average height, fairly slim but busty girls like myself, I highly recommend renting any of the dresses by this brand! (On another note, my friends in the picture rented their dresses through Rent The Runway too and they also worked out great and were absolutely beautiful in person! I've been renting dresses regularly through RTR for a few years now and have always had a great experience. So if you're debating renting a dress for the first time, don't hesitate! My only advice would be to always read the reviews of the dresses your considering and look at customer's photos so that you gain a good idea of how the dress fits, size-wise. That has always been a big help, in my experience.)

Stylish top - but yes, it does open up in front
The top is stylish and fits true to size. I love the neckline - it makes it a nice alternative to a basic shell. However, the cross part in the front of the shirt does open easily - this mostly happened when I put on or took off my jacket, or if I lifted or spread my arms. The opening revealed my stomach - so nothing too scandalous - but still, it's not ideal. I rented the top through Unlimited so I got two uses out of it before sending it back. I safety pinned it it together the second time I wore it and that helped keep it from opening but as a result the top also didn't sit quite as nicely or have the same sort of movement. Overall, it's a cute, flattering top but be aware of the opening. (I'm 5'4" and it was a few inches longer on me than on the model.)

Flattering fit, perfect for bridal shower!
I loved this dress! It was perfect for my bridal shower. I usually wear a zero but I wore a 2 in this dress. I'm very busty but slim from the waist down - the 2 fit well throughout.

Fun twist on a LBD
This dress is super cute BUT... The tutu part was really crinkled and looked messy (because it had obviously been worn many times before). The neckline and part around the arms sat really low on me, making it impossible to wear a regular bra with (I opted for a stick on bra because every other bra I have showed). I have a large chest and this fabric has no stretch at all so it was really tight and a little unflattering up top, but the waist was really loose. Overall, I liked the dress - but it had some fit and quality issues.

Pretty but huge!
Really beautiful, statement cuff. I have tiny wrists so this didn't even come close to working as a bracelet for me - but I shoved it up my arm and wore it as an arm cuff.

Beautiful, unique statement earrings
These earrings are absolutely beautiful! I wore them to my couples wedding shower, which was more of a cocktail party - I knew they'd be the perfect accessory for an otherwise simple outfit. I wore a white, tailored jumpsuit (not rented), which contrasted beautifully with the blue earrings. I got tons of compliments. I would absolutely rent them again!

Comfortable, flattering, glam dress!
I rented this dress for my engagement photos and I fell in love with it! I can't wait to rent it again. It's incredibly flattering and super comfortable. I also loved that I could wear a regular bra with it. It is short but it wasn't THAT short on me because I'm only 5'4" and I don't have much of a butt. It might pouf up more in the back on someone with more of a butt, making it appear shorter. Overall, I'm obsessed with this dress and I would buy it in a heartbeat if it were available!

Stunning (clip-on!) earrings for a formal affair!
I rented these for my engagement photos to go with a black lace dress I also rented. These earrings are STUNNING! The most beautiful earrings I've ever worn, by far. I'm not going to dock them a star for this because it was probably in the description and I just missed it, but they're clip-ons... For renting, that probably makes them more sanitary than traditional posts, which I can appriciate... but because they're relatively bulky and heavy, I was worried they were going to fall off! My ear lobes are really small so this was a bit of a concern for me. Luckily, I only wore them for about an hour for photos, but still... If I owned these I would probably get a post put on them.

Gorgeous, but gets caught on things!
Incredibly beautiful cuff bracelet (it was too big on me but I have really small wrists so that was to be expected)! Some of the beads and the gold pieces were a little loose but that's not that big of a deal because I was renting not buying. You couldn't see that they were loose, I could just feel it if I touched them. But the bracelet managed to get caught on everything!
