This dress is definitely a nice alternative to a little black dress! I ordered the size up but found that the bigger size didn't fit as well in the bust area and because the neckline and sleeves are all part of it, I HAD to wear the smaller size. Even in the smaller size, I found myself fiddling with the top all day as I wore it to make sure my bra wasn't showing. I am not flat chested by any means but this dress appears to be better suited for fuller busy sizes. I wore a plush convertible strapless bra from VS . Spanx are probably in order to create the smooth lines this material favors. I noticed that this dress has been a popular choice and you can't tell in the pictures, but in person, you can see some subtle fading in the fabric and can tell the elasticity in the top part is starting to give out. (At least in my case) I still received many compliments and it photographs well because of the neat lines! The dress doesn't wrinkle as easily as others so that is a bonus! Glad I rented it and i will definitely rent other dresses by this designer!

I am between sizes and after reading the reviews knew I should size up but R the R didn't have my larger size available. The size 8 was perfect as long as I didn't raise my arms to reveal the pockets! The pockets showed that the dress was a little too tight . I was super bummed because the cut of this dress is so pretty. If I owned it, I would probably see the pockets shut and stick with the size 8! It seemed to fit otherwise. I will try to rent the larger size in the future since this was such a beauty! Spanx would probably still be in order even in the larger size.

I am between sizes but typically run more of a size 10 and this dress was roomy in the size 8! I wasn't sure how it would fit since it is so new and there weren't any reviews, but I am so glad I got the right size! If you prefer tighter fitting, you may opt to size down as your back up. I loved this dress and received so many compliments! The color is vivid and the details of the design definitely stand out in the crowd! It has a little stretch to it and is pretty light weight making it a fantastic choice for the outdoors! The tags were still on this dress so it was nice to be asked where I got it! The neckline is such that you don't even need a necklace but could get away with a smashing bracelet and earrings. Love this dress!! I would rent it again!
