Fit - I typically wear Size 4/Small, but went with Large in this dress because the medium wouldn't zip over my hips. Large was a bit loose in the waist/bust, but that's ok because it's meant to be blousy. Also I liked that the large wouldn't be quite as short on me as the Medium... it hit me mid-thigh. Pros - Beautiful color. Light and airy, but long sleeves so you could wear in warm or cold weather. I got lots of compliments. The long sleeve/high neck/blousy nature of the design sort of makes up for the short length so I didn't feel like a total hoochy. Slightly poofy shoulders are flattering. Cons - I wish this was just a couple inches longer... I was a tad self-conscious about the short length.

This is the second time I've rented this dress, and absolutely love it. Lots of compliments on the emerald green color, and it's super comfortable. I'm usually a size 6, but went with the 8 in this dress [I'm 5'6" 135lbs]. The fabric is thick, yet pretty stretchy, so either size could have worked for me. But I opted for a little more wiggle room and comfort. You can wear a normal bra with this, though racerback would probably be best. And I just shimmied it up to use the bathroom (unzipping would have been a bit too tricky).

This was my backup to the backup dress for a black tie wedding, and I'm so glad I got it. I typically wear between a 4 and a 6, but went with the 6L for this dress. I probably could have gotten away with the 4, but the 6 was really comfortable and left me with a little extra room to breathe. The v-neck was much lower on me than it looks in some of the other pictures, but it was still flattering and classy. I was able to wear a normal black bra under this. The slit is quite high, but not in a trashy way - it was actually great because it gave me plenty of room to get down on the dance floor, and provided some breathing room on a hot day. I needed to wear 3-inch heels with the 6L. The pictures I have are quite dark unfortunately, but I'm 5'6" / 135 as a reference point. Overall I had so many compliments on this dress, and would definitely rent it again.
