The dress is absolutely beautiful and I got several compliments on it, but I wanted to warn others that the gold fabric is extremely sheer when backlit!! This may not be an issue for some events, but at an evening wedding with dancing, my entire leg would've been visible in certain lighting. Luckily, adding a long slip underneath was enough to fix the problem. Overall, I would still recommend the dress, but I had to take a star off for this issue.

I loved the silhouette of this dress, and the embroidery looks even better in person! My dress size is typically 8-10, and I probably would have preferred an 8, but the 10 was fine. I have a smaller chest, so the top was a little loose but the halter neckline kept it in place well enough. I'm 5'11" and wore 2 inch heels, and the length was about an inch or so above the floor.
