confusing straps
Once I figured out the straps (both adjustable, in different ways), this was cute, but a little too much volume in the bust.

Roaring 20s updated!
I wore this dress for a NYE Roaring 20s party, and I loved the updated flapper styling. Compliments all night! The fit was flattering and I could still move around and dance. True to size - I usually wear a 2 but only the 0 was available. It was a little snug, as to be expected, but I was still comfortable. Fun dress!

Perfect dress for a birthday party! Dress it up or down!
I wore this dress for my milestone birthday party, and it was a hit. Endless compliments! I loved the flattering fit, POCKETS, and subtle glamour. It's a dress that you can dress up and wear to a formal event, or dress down and wear to a more casual party, because of the relatively low-key black top and subtle shine on the bottom. The cleavage was tasteful but abundant, and I was able to eat a good dinner without the dress feeling snug. LOVED IT.

I wore this dress out for a fancy meal while on vacation. I felt effortlessly chic - the dress didn't wrinkle and was so light and comfortable for a summer night. I am usually a 2-4 with this designer, so I ordered the XS. The fit was loose and breathable, but the top was gaping wide open. This could NOT be worn without a camisole! I wore it with a black cami, and it looked ok, but not as good as it would have looked properly fitted.

This dress is super-flattering and sexy. It's a tiny bit tight in the ribcage, but everywhere else it is comfortable and looks gorgeous. I love the length and the light, floaty fabric. Perfect for a night out in the spring or summer!

Surprisingly flimsy for DVF
I was surprised by the thin, clingy, wrinkly fabric of this dress. I own and have rented a lot of DVF, and her items usually feel much more high quality. This has a beautiful print and a lovely shape, but the fabric was disappointing.

Absolutely perfect autumn wedding guest dress!
I could not love this dress more. From the deep, rich color to the gentle sweep of the ruffles to the heavy, expensive-looking fabric - this one is a stunner. I received dozens of compliments and felt like a million bucks. The dress is true to size or a smidge larger - I'm usually a 2 and was able to eat, dance, and hug all night. It also traveled well - from suitcase to wedding with zero wrinkles. Rent this dress!

I received so many compliments on this dress! I am usually a size 2 and the XS was perfect. I love the knit material for springtime - form fitting but not tight and clingy. Just be careful with your choice of bra - the arm holes are a little big. Will rent again!

I wore this dress to a gala and loved it so much! I was able to wear a strapless bra with it, but you could go braless depending on your body. This dress was SO comfortable. I ate dinner and danced all night! Super cute retro polka dot style :)

Gorgeous sexy springtime dress!
I love the sexy fit of this dress. The neckline is beautiful, the adjustable straps were very handy, and the flounce at the bottom did good things for my rear end! The fit is a little small - I usually wear a 2, and I was able to wear the 2 in this but it was a little snug. The fabric has no stretch at all! I think I would have been more comfortable in a 4.

SIZE UP! I usually wear a 2 and even the 40 was quite snug - I would have been comfortable in a 42. That said, the 40 did look great. This dress is gorgeous and flattering. The lace detail and ruching really make the dress special.

Perfect day to night dress!
I love this dress. It's totally work-appropriate, but the subtle shine in the polka dots and the fluttery sleeves give it a little glam edge that would work for evening. The print under the dots is a very subtle navy and black pattern which give you flexibility while accessorizing. It fits beautifully, true to size and flattering. I might have to buy this one!

I felt a little like a cheerleader in this, but the dress is more sophisticated than it looks. The material is a little heavy and sweater-like, which very slightly broadened my shoulders and bust. The 2 was roomy and fit me comfortably, more of a shift design, not clingy or tight at all. Cute for work!

This top is really pretty but hard to wear. The sides gape open, so you need a camisole if wearing to work. I love the ruffles in the front. The loose fit means you have to choose your bottom half carefully so as not to look dumpy, as it definitely can't be tucked in.

The sizing is bizarre
I read the reviews and thought I understood how to size this dress. I also have worn a 38/2 in other Marni items and they always fit perfectly. This did not work for me at all - both the bust and the hips were laughably tight (and I have small hips). I could barely zip up this dress. Will continue with Marni but just not this dress!

I've seen some other reviewers had fit issues, but this dress worked perfectly for me. This dress is classy and elegant, beautiful and high quality. I loved the slight iridescent colors in the lace - very subtle but eye catching. The waist doesn't have any give, so make sure the sizing is right, but the full skirt is flattering on everyone. Love this dress!

I love this dress so much
I think I may have to buy this dress. It fits beautifully, is tasteful enough for work but dressy enough for an evening out or even a wedding. Wanted to love it, great fit
I loved the fabric and fit - very flattering and soft, while looking convincingly like real leather. Unfortunately the sleeves are cut straight across in a horizontal line, which made me look really wide! This dress looks cute on other people, but that cut somehow just didn't work on me.
