Birthday Joan of Arc
I rented the Nicole Miller Sequin Sleeve Dress for my 33rd birthday and it was such a standout! The sparkly, sequined sleeves are definitely the highlight -- they catch the light beautifully and add the perfect amount of extra to a classic black dress. I also found the fit to be really comfortable; the fabric has a nice weight to it that feels high-quality without being restrictive. It’s one of those rare pieces that is both flattering and fun. I received so many compliments throughout the night! If you're looking for something that feels sophisticated but has that unique pop of personality, I highly recommend this one!

I really need to not wear strapless dresses honestly
I have never been more conflicted about a dress. If you are looking for a "wow" moment while standing perfectly still, this is it. But if you plan on moving—at all—be warned. This gown is stunning. The 3D floral bodice is intricate, high-end, and looks even better in person. I felt incredibly hot and received compliments all night. The silhouette is classic and the craftsmanship is exactly what you’d expect from a designer like Badgley Mischka. But here is the deal: if you have a larger chest, this dress is a high-risk choice. The strapless struggle never stopped because I spent the entire night pulling the bodice up every five seconds. It simply couldn't handle the weight and movement of a larger bust. And while I looked great in photos, the dancing was a disaster. I came dangerously close to flashing the groom on multiple occasions. It was a constant battle against gravity that honestly took away from the fun of the night. This is a gorgeous dress that I would only recommend for someone with a smaller chest. If you don't need significant support to keep a strapless top in place, you will love it. For my fellow busty girls, skip this for weddings. It’s beautiful, but "no bueno" for the dance floor.

Easily one of the most eye-catching pieces I’ve rented. If you want a dress that feels modern but has a fun, retro vibe, this is a fantastic choice. The cherry red wavy gingham print is even more vibrant in person than it looks online. What I loved most was the textured power mesh fabric. It’s incredibly lightweight and has a lot of stretch, so it moves with you rather than feeling restrictive. The knot detail at the chest gives it a unique focal point that makes it feel more high-end than a standard slip dress. This dress is a "compliment magnet." It manages to be bold and edgy while still feeling effortless. I wore it to my friend's baby's baptism and their cookout afterwards.

I wore this to my friend’s baby shower and got so many compliments from it! The square neckline is so flattering and modern, while the sleeveless design keeps you cool and comfortable. Cute Top But Also Annoying
I really liked this top when I first saw it on RTR. But then when I put it on, the side-shoulder sleeves kept riding up my shoulders. Maybe it’s because I have large deltoids, but it was really annoying pulling down the side-shoulder sleeves and situating them back down underneath the shoulders. I kinda felt like the top part of body was being mummified. Super cute to wear out, but annoying to adjust.

It’s a Cheetah Print Dress
So, I usually go for the more traditional looks and outfits (ie I don’t really subscribe to prints) but because I live in New York City, I see so many women on the Upper East Side wearing cheetah print coats, skirts, top, dresses, etc. So I figured that maybe I would give it a try. Let me say this: I do not like cheetah print on me. Other than that, the dress itself was super comfortable.

Once I had a chance to figure out that the back was a cross-strap, then I finally got a hang of this dress. It feels like water when you put it on. Seriously, it was such a light fabric that I felt like I was able to easily move around in it. An easy and fun wear for a night out.

Simple and Elegant
This dress fit like a glove. I felt absolutely beautiful wearing it. The only thing I will say is that it is a REALLY long dress, so it might be difficult to wear if you’re someone (like me) who is fun-sized. Wore this out to dinner, but honestly could’ve also worn it again for a wedding or a gala event.

It’s Fine

Super Cute Going Out Outfit
I wore this dress out twice. The first was for a solo adventure to Cipriani’s on Valentine’s Day. The second was for a girl’s night at Bemelmen’s Bar. This was such a fun dress to wear at a restaurant and at the bar. The dress didn’t have a deep plunging neckline, so I felt like my chest was secure, and I loved the on/off the shoulder look to it as well. I do have a large chest, so even though this outfit has some cutouts in the sides, my bra could be clearly seen. Other than that, fun and flirty dress to wear with one’s girlfriends.

Awesome Jumpsuit
My birthday is in February, and I live in New York. Not an ideal combination, and not ideal weather to wear a dress either. So I went for the pantsuit for my birthday dinner. I felt and looked fabulous in it. And maybe it’s just me, but I have very big deltoids, and this outfit really highlighted my deltoids. But it also made me feel very self conscious about them. Nonetheless, it was a great outfit to wear and super comfortable sitting down in it as well.

Super Cute and Chic
I wore this dress to NYFW and LOVED IT!!! It was so cute and so stylish that I felt like I stood out amongst the crowd. I loved how colorful the dress was, and I loved the big bow in the middle. I felt like a total supermodel in this dress. The only word of caution that I would say about this dress is that it feels like wearing a night gown. Now, that might not be bad to some. And the straps were very thin. Other than that, if you’re looking to make a statement, this dress is PERFECT!

Overall Cool Top
So upon first glance, I thought that this was a pretty unique looking top. And it was. However, the two long pieces of cloth that hang out the sides need to be wrapped. Unfortunately, the only way to wrap them (so that they’re not dragging on the floor) was around one’s neck. It was fine overall. Not my favorite. And I had to unwrap myself every now and then if I felt like it was too tight. Glad I tried it on, but I will not be seeking out to wear this type of top again.

This dress will make you feel like a badass
Back in 2022, I was visiting New York City. While I was at the Flatiron Equinox location, the Membership Advisor who I met wore this exact same dress. When I saw her in this dress, I was instantly terrified of her. She looked perfect. So, cut to a few years later, I was asked to go to a party with a lot of men. I wanted something that I felt powerful in. Something that made me look one-part terrifying and one-part irresistible. Suffice to say, the dress made a HUGE statement at the party and was highly commented on. I absolutely loved wearing it. I felt both powerful and confident whenever I put it on.

Perfect Spring Dress
The wedding that I attended was “Garden Themed” which in my opinion was within the same vein as the Met Gala theme of “Garden of Time.” So even though I wasn’t invited to said Met Gala this year, this dress for my friend’s “Garden Themed” wedding was perfect! It was fun, and the green and pink floral colors on the dress really do pop out. It was super chic and comfortable to wear. Also I would say it’s perfect if the wedding is also somehow “ Bridgerton” themed as well.

Awesome jumpsuit but the hook kept coming off
This jumpsuit caught my attention because it struck me as super unique. I loved the velvet feel of the outfit and the lapel. It even had pockets! However, to close the lapel on the jumpsuit required more than two people to help me in order to secure the front of the outfit.

This dress was absolutely beautiful! I even felt beautiful wearing it. However, I am rather large chested, and this dress didn’t exactly do a great job covering me. I kept having to pull it up so that I didn’t accidentally have one of my twins pop out. Other than that, it’s a fun dress to wear and lovely for the spring!

Beautiful backless dress but made for someone with a smaller chest
When I initially saw this dress I became so obsessed with it. I always look good in the color orange and this looked like the perfect dress to wear for my friend’s summer wedding. Now, I’m bigger chested and this dress made it difficult to cover the majority of my boobs. Nonetheless, it lasted me through the event - thankfully the twins stayed in place - but I was always checking the dress to make sure I wasn’t flashing anyone. Overall, I felt and looked beautiful in this dress, but for my body type I probably would’ve picked a different dress instead to feel more secure in.
