didn't work for me
This is a beautiful dress but unfortunately my proportions don't work with how it is designed. The top part has its own zipper and assembly, that fit comfortably and perhaps even a little loose despite currently being a C cup (rented an 8R for ref). The skirt however has its own zipper and is just a pinch too tight for me. Awkward pulling it up over my curvy hips. Zips up but felt a little tight and like it made the cut out showing skin bulge out a little. So sad because it's so unique.

This dress was awkward. The 8 was small overall, but there is another odd detail. The arm holes are cut in a way where it feels like they are too large--it felt like my side boob wanted to pop out in a way that really wasn't flattering. This was a miss for me

I rented the matching skirt and this top together. I found that the top was a lot of fabric and I probably could have sized down. Also a warning, it's a lot of fabric. Tucking it in as the model does makes the hips look a little frumpy so I might find another way to style this if you want both pieces

Overall this is a great sweater, oversized and comfy. I knocked a star off for two reasons - the first being because I thought a cardigan like this should have pockets and it does not, and the second being that every time I buttoned it up, it would come unbuttoned again

great for a fall/winter wedding
Rented this to attend a fall wedding. It looks very expensive and is well made. Super flattering if you have curves! My one complaint, hence losing a star, is that the dress is a little stiff. It fit, but the zipper was hard to pull up and sitting down wasn't always comfortable.

This just didn't work for me. It is very, very large and has no shape to it so as a result I sort of look like a very fancy, shapeless garbage bag. Did not end up wearing. The quality is nice though, so I only take the one star off for the sizing issue.

Rented this to wear at my leisure while in Prague for a week. it is so cute! I definitely find it was cut a little short, almost like a crop jacket so be mindful of that. The sparkle feels great, upgrades any everyday outfit you are wearing.

too tight in the waist
Based on reviews I ordered a large, but the waist of this dress is just too tight. Not much give at all, which was a problem for me as I have hips that are much wider than my bust. Was able to zip up but felt like sitting would be uncomfortable and that the black band made me look like I was wrapped too tightly.

a keeper, literally
Ended up loving this dress so much that I kept it! It is a beautiful shade of blue, so flattering. The lining did not ride up on me like many do (I have wide hips), and this was professional enough for me to wear at a work training but I also plan on pairing this with hot heels for a date some time.

The dress is beautiful, the color is rich, the fabric is thick. However. Pear-shaped girls beware! How the skirt falls on the waistline, it ends up completely flaring out and making your bottom half look very wide. Was not able to wear, but can't rate it poorly just for it not working for my body type.

This thing was unreasonably baggy, even if it was intentionally cut that way. I could have made two sweaters with the fabric that makes up one. I also found the material itchy and something about the metallic thread details made it seem cheap to me. Not a hit.

that great mix of sexy and professional
Wore this for a work training. Loved that is has some color and shape to it but is cut modestly enough that it is still professional. The buttons on the slit are adjustable so you can make it even sexier or keep it even more conservative. Would rent again.

This dress is so unique and stunning. It looks expensive as soon as you take it out of the bag. But what was so confusing about this dress for me was that it was clearly too large on top, a lot of fabric around the torso...but then it is so short! I fear going a size down would mean someone catching some cheek if I were to move at all.

this dress is cut really wacky. I was swimming in fabric. The arm holes are so large, your arms fall out of them. The main bodice of the dress is so baggy it ends up making you look larger. This was not a winner.

I know it's called over sized but...
Yes, the style clearly says over sized. However I felt the length of the sleeves was borderline impractical. It's a beautiful color, very warm, and I love the zipper accents. Just be warned that this is not something practical to wear if you plan on eating, or anything else with a lot of hand use. Still 4 Stars for the quality.
