exactly as pictured - easy to wear
While I did not end up wearing this dress (I have an evening wedding and this dress felt more daytime), I wanted to. Easy to wear, pretty pattern, exactly as pictured.

Odd sizing - Barbie dress
The skirt is very fulsome, which is cute and would be forgiving in the belly. The top plunges, which balances out how much fabric here is in the skirt, and tape would have kept it in place. Could not zip up the back over the rib cage band under the bust. Suggests one should have a narrower rib cage (no amount of contorting would do it), but if you have the needed narrow rib cage, you might be too slight to fill out the top. Hard to see how this dress works for most. Nice fabric, heavy, shiny gold leaves - perfect for a winter party, if you can zip it up

Hip flounce is real
I was looking for a dress for a wedding. The fabric of the dress and fit of this dress are beautiful. The hip ruffle is very pronounced - it felt like a pageant dress, which isn't for me. Did not wear it

slinky fabric - not "formal"
This dress fits easily because it is a tube of stretchy fabric - no zippers, etc. I was looking for a dress for an evening, black tie optional wedding. I'm in my 40s. I did not wear it. Fabric too informal (thin, stretchy) for my [generational?] expectations of wedding attire. Could work for a late night party
