Not a showstopper but got job done
Wore to a friend's wedding welcome party. The dress looks less matronly on, especially on a full bust. Beyond that, though, it doesn't do much.

Oversized but unremarkable
Felt like a burlap sack. Cannot be worn as a dress because slit goes up to hip bone. Cutout on sides is see-through so bra might show. Size down twice.

Loved the look. Usually wear a 4 and that would have probably fit me best. This seemed a bit large in the waist, extra fabric.

Don't be fooled by the full skirt
Lovely jacquard fabric and floral print with a hint of silver. Background fabric is a charcoal navy. I wore with silver evening shoes, about 2" tall and worked perfectly with the long length for a ground skimming look. But the skirt is not full. A crinoline layer may achieve that look, however.

Though the color is neat and the dress has a vintage-feel, the look felt a little too much like a no man's land between a halloween costume and grandma's prom dress. Too much tulle - the cut that is obvious in the picture was not apparent on. The beading at the waist didn't seem that high of quality either. The bodice was huge on me, too! I have lost a little under 10 lbs since the new year but my bust size has not changed... Either this dress runs large or I've been wearing size 8 dress that are way undersized! Ended up not wearing and my original was perfect.

Amazing color and fabric - not to mention a great fit! Elegant, glamorous, classy!
This dress fit me like a glove. I absolutely adored it and wish it was in my permanent collection, ha! The high-lo was perfect for an early June black tie wedding. The wide straps and effortless style meant no fuss. I was able to wear this dress sans bra because of the thick, dark fabric, which meant an easier fit given the deep v-neck back. Dress felt sturdy and was easy to dance, drink, and dine in!

I lucked out with shoes that matched - great pewter color with blue/silver sparkles!
The purse was your typical evening clutch - long silver chain handle tucked in easily if you didn't want to carry it on your shoulder. I could fit a lipstick and lip gloss, plus my cell phone. Didn't quite sneak the compact inside. Also had card slots and a larger slot where I fit some cash.

Zipper was very difficult to maneuver between the two types of fabric and the hi-lo design requires much higher heels than what I wore (around 1") to be flattering.

So many compliments - I felt like royalty!
Fit was overall satisfactory. The bust was large and gapped a bit. The length was perfect with 1.5" heels. If I had it to do over again, I would have chosen the 8L but I used this as my second option so I had only one size. That said, the waist at least accentuated my figure a bit and the dress camouflaged my trouble area -- my stomach.

Gorgeous dress but was unable to wear it to my event because it was too large!
I was unable to wear this dress because it was too large. It gapped nearly 1" in the bust and torso. If I had to reorder, I would choose the 6L and the 4L. It's also plenty long. I had 1.5" heels and that would have barely made the dress far enough off the ground to walk in.
