I rented this dress to wear to my engagement party and it was lovely. A little large in the bust for me, but otherwise it fit fine. I felt very pretty, and on a warm day this dress wasn't too hot. The asymmetrical hemline was a big source of compliments.

I loved how this dress looked on me. It highlighted my waist and gracefully smoothed over my other curves without being too tight. The plunging neckline looked beautiful, and I wore a long necklace to accentuate. The long sleeves and the shoulder pads make for a really fun silhouette that I just loved. However this dress is short. It doesn't seem short until you're trying to sit down and the very tight, unforgiving slip rides up to your crotch taking the dress layer with it. I was constantly battling the skirt, having to pull it down whenever I stood up, danced a little too much (read: at all), etc., And had something in my lap whenever I was sitting to avoid flashing people. I knew what I signed up for with the neckline, but just be aware you'll have to fashion tape it down and then supervise it all evening. Final note: do not wear this if there's even a chance the weather may be unseasonably warm. I melted... But looked great doing it.

I liked this dress a lot! It fit well at the top, and didn't slip down despite the fact it was strapless and I did not wear a bra. The skirt flares out nicely, and it was fun and I felt quite pretty. The over layer, while it may look like a sheer fabric, is honest to god MESH. Fun, spongy mesh that I played with all afternoon. Its quite different, but looks nice. All in all, a good choice for a temperate spring wedding.

The dress was a little short. I am 5'7" and had to buy a pair of flat sandals to wear, because with heels it would not reach the floor. It's also quite fitted through the tummy and hip area (as intended), so I wore some Spanx to keep everything smooth and pretty.

Went wine tasting for my 21st birthday in Napa, during a heat wave. 100 degree weather, clear skies, hot sun... This dress was perfect! Nice and cool, very pretty, and the perfect mix between casual and classy. The material was lovely and cool and flowy, however it wrinkles very easily... especially when you're sitting on it hot and maybe just a tiny bit sweaty. By dinner the back was incredibly wrinkled. If you need to sit, try and subtly pull the blue part out from under your bum and sit on the white slip. Regardless, I am SO HAPPY I had this dress. I met a lot of people and I'm sure it helped make some good impressions. ;) Thanks RTR!
