I rented it for Christmas, it was perfect.
Perfect for an hourglass figure, no shape ware required. The lining and lace are sturdy with just the right amount of stretch. You will need help to zip up the zipper is tiny and the fabric is thick.

I wore it to a business dinner as an alternate to a suit. I felt feminine and appropriate.
Typically I wear a 12 or 14 but this one the waist is a bit snug. Glad I went with the 14 especially for a business dinner.

Fit was perfect for an hourglass and you could wear a strapless bra but I did not need a bra as the top was snug and the fabric was thick.
