I wanted to love this dress - it had so many great reviews and the photos of others were enticing! It's an unusual, fun, lovely print, and as many said, the design of the bodice is just as unique, and that part fit me perfectly. I am probably going to hand it over to another lucky person, though. :-) It is ever so slightly tight on me, and I'd be fidgety and uncomfortable with that if I wore it. The shape of the skirt portion of the dress is more A-line than it appears and the hem hits at an unflattering part of my leg. It's a beautiful dress, just not a fit for me.

Another reviewer did allude to this fitting and looking like a nightgown - it's true! Your body's shape is completely lost in it. The fabric is a pretty eyelet, though, and there's a nice balance of lined and peek-a-boo from the thigh down. I worry about the straps ripping off; they're made with the same muslin-y material and stitched without fortification. I will wear it for day to day outings in the summer when I want something a little more dressy than shorts or capris.

Even though there's a lot going on with this top - print, ruching, grommets - it's absolutely adorable. Incredibly comfortable, for starters, which is always a winner in my book. Very slight high-low, which is flattering, and without being obvious, it's loose in the midriff. You can dress this up or down and it's neutral without being boring. Will rent again.
