Runs large, avoid if petite
I rented a 6 and it was very big in the hips. The fabric has a nice weight and is lined, but I think it would overwhelm a smaller frame. I am 5’8” for reference.

Great party dress
Loved the dress! I got a medium but could have gone with a small. The straps were a little long and loose. It wrinkles easily so a steamer was needed. It kills me that this dress is viscose and $1200 but that’s why we rent! A solid party frock.

I rented this before any reviews were posted and got my usual size 6. I think the sizes are European so I should have gotten an 8 at the very least, or a 10 if I wanted more room in the chest. I was able to zip the 6 and made it work, but there was 0 room for a bra or even to take a full breath. If you are in any way broad in the bust or rib area, size up 2 sizes or just skip this one. It was perfect for the gallery opening I attended, however!

Fine with reservations
I love the pattern play and fall vibes of this dress. It was clingy around the midsection where I thought it would be forgiving. The material also isn’t breathable and better for colder climates. I’ll still wear it for thanksgiving but be sure to wear spanx.

Loved but a little hip-py
I love this skirt. I’d say it’s true to size but it was a little big in the hips, but it looks big on the model as well, so maybe that’s just the cut. If you are more straight hipped, I’d size down. If you have curves, I’d rent your normal size.
