I loved this outfit. I wore it for a benefit cocktail hour. It was extremely comfortable and flattering. Everyone commented and complimented the outfit. It is eye catching and fits like a glove. I would love to buy this outfit. And, will definitely be renting again. I found the length of R to be perfect. I am 5'8 and it was the perfect length.

I opted not to wear this but I had rented for a charity event cocktail hour. I do feel it would be a perfect dress for such an event. However, while it fit me and I am usually a size 6 - this dress would be better for someone narrower on top and with a smaller bust as the fabric does not have a lot of give and I felt made me a little more bulky looking on top. I definitely could have worn it and not have felt bad about it - I just decided to wear a different outfit altogether. I think if you have less broad shoulders and maybe have a cup size of a or b and 6 is your normal size - this would be a perfect dress. Again, it still looked fine and I am more broad on top - I just was not feeling as comfortable as I would have liked for the event.

It was also sturdy and had a strap which made it nice to hold on my shoulder when i wanted to eat, have a drink at the cocktail hour. It held 2 lip glosses, a compact a brush and money. I wore these for a black tie wedding with a black floor length gown. They were perfect for the dress and really added a lot of shine. I loved the shape/ length of the earrings. By the end of the night my ears were a little sore from the clip on but I do not say that as a complaint,. I wore them for 8 hours and only noticed them causing my ears to ache when I got in the car to go home.

I rented this for a black tie wedding in NYC. I originally rented the 42L but when they did not have the back up size of 44L, I requested the 40 L and it was actually the best fit (and I may have been able to go down another size) so definitely rent a size smaller than what you would normally wear. This may be my favorite dress of all time so I highly recommend. It is super flattering and beyond comfortable. I received so many compliments on the dress and felt like a princess. I am 5'8 and I got the long. and while it was fine with my 3 inch heels, it ran very close to the ground so you probably could get away with the regular for 5'8 and below esp if you are not wearing super high heels. I love love love this dress. I wish I had a picture to share. But I think this would be flattering for most body types. I honestly would buy this dress if I could. I also want to comment on how wonderful and easy it is to work with RTR. They notified me that my back up size was not available the day before they were shipping and let me pick another dress. When that dress arrived, it was not my favorite and the zipper seemed to be on its last leg so they offered to overnight me another option since I loved my original dress but it was slightly big, I got a size down. It arrived the next morning. I found the whole process easy and effortless and found a dress I love and will absolutely rent again!
