Too frumpy for an evening wedding
I got this as a backup for a wedding / rehearsal dinner weekend. I thought even though it was a bright color, maybe it was formal enough for a wedding. It might be good for a shower or daytime event but I felt frumpy in it. I’m 3m PP and it made me feel large.

Very low cut- need special bra
I loved this dress but actually didn’t end up wearing it because it was so low that any bra I brought with me on my trip was showing. I tried fabric tape too. I’m not even sure that I have a bra that would have worked. If I had, it would’ve been a fabulous dress. It was a wrap dress so in theory, it was adjustable to your rib cage but in actuality you need the proper size for the chest part to lay right. I am 3m PP so I sized up bc I knew my normal size wasn’t fitting. Measurements reflect my current size. Size Large worked great other than the bra situation.

Shows off chest nicely, tight in the ribs
This was a backup dress for one that I rented and was unavailable for shipping. Like other reviews, I think the shimmer is completely unnecessary and makes the dress feel cheaper than it otherwise would. I would have worn this in a pinch but I had another backup I preferred. This dress does come down a little wide in the chest but hugs nicely. The buttons down the front were a little snug on my wider ribs.

I ordered this as the backup to a dress I rented that wasn't returned in time. I would have loved this dress if I had gotten the correct size. From the reviews, I thought it ran true to size but that was definitely not the case. I wore a 10R in another dress, and the 6 was still too large for me in this Kate Spade dress. I have a decent sized chest, and it was billowy in the chest and the back zipper stuck out bc it was just too big. I might rent the 4 another time and try again.

Great formal dress for a wedding
I really enjoyed this dress for a formal wedding. For a strapless dress, I was super impressed at how well the body stayed up all night. It has a sticky border at the top and boning down the front and sides. I dropped one star because when trying on the 8R, it was perfect but just a little snug. The front flap on the 10R, which gave me room to breathe, did not lay down nicely like it did on the 8R, which you can see in this photo. I tried ironing it, and it didn't help.

Feminine and fun, but tight on ribs
I loved this dress, but the waist has zero give. I have a wider rib cage, and this was very tight on me. It zipped fine standing up, but sitting down was less comfortable and since it was tight, it rolled up a little. I'm not sure if a size up would've worked because the shoulders and length was great otherwise. At the time I ordered, the next size up wasn't available.

Classic & beautiful, stunning standout dress
I love this dress from S&W. You can't beat the price of their dresses! I've rented it in the royal blue before. I loved that this one had the nude underlay which made the beautiful teal overlay stand out. The back of the dress is stunning and the entire thing made me feel like I was in a runway dress. I got so many compliments. It was perfectly snug, although the straps did start to dig in as the night went on. I used stick on bra cups due to the open back, but the dress does have underwire.

Beautiful & comfortable wrap dress
This dress fit perfectly and made me feel comfortable & beautiful. The wrap around the bust was perfectly snug and didn't feel like I was going to fall out of the dress, and the waist hit at the perfect spot. It was tea length for me, which I don't tend to think is a good length for my height but some may like that. I def needed heels. Unfortunately the weather ended up being too cold for me to wear this dress to the backyard wedding like I had planned (sub 40deg).

Runs large, made me feel large
I would've loved this dress if I had gone a size down, but the M swallowed me up & made me feel large. It's definitely well suited for a person with a longer torso, which I do not have, because of where the cinched waist was hitting me so low. It fit comfortably in the shoulders, so the S might've been too tight in that area. It was just too balloony in the front for me to wear. But the fabric was super comfortable, and the button in the front was perfectly placed for modesty if you want that.

Comfortable, nice lines
This was a backup for a dress that I rented that couldn't ship on time. I was able to pick two backups actually, before it was too late. It was a nice fit, although was a tad tight on my rib cage, but I'm usually on the verge of 6 or 8. It was a nice thick fabric, which was good for a chilly night. Overall I liked this dress, but I don't know that it was as fabulous as others I've rented.

Comfortable and flattering - I'd buy it!
LOVED this dress so much, I want to buy it. I wore it to a rehearsal dinner, so I wanted something cute and classy for an evening dinner. I tried on the Medium, and never bothered to try the Small I also rented as a backup. Rarely do I find a dress that has all the right fit- the right chest span, my shoulders fit comfortably, the waist hit me perfectly. I maybe could've worn the small, but since it was a dinner I new I might want room to be comfortable. I wished I had time to iron the sash because it folded so it didn't stand out as much, and I didn't love how it tied in the front center, so I tied it on the side. The wrap part on the bottom is very flattering. It has lightweight fabric, but I could still wear normal undergarments.

Flattering daytime dress
I loved this dress. I would rent it in every color if they had it. I rented it for a day of wedding dress shopping. It was very comfortable and made me feel beautiful. The length was interesting for my height (5'5") because the overlay came down mid calf but I came to love that. It's a sturdy material too. Normally I wear a 6-8, and I'm definitely on the 8 side these days so the 38 fit snug.

Weird collarbone area
I rented the M, and I would've rented the L if it was available because I usually need to go up a size on tight waists like this dress, however the area around the collarbone/armpits did not lay flat, and seemed almost too big (even though I have a decent sized chest). So I don't think any size would fit me right. I rented two dresses, so ended up wearing the other.

I usually wear a 6 or 8, really depending on the construction of the dress and the manufacturing, but this dress definitely ran small. I tend to have a wider ribcage than my 6/8 counterparts, and I could zip the 8, but I could barely breathe. I would love to wear this dress another time, but I will definitely go for the 10 and 12 as backup. While RTR was not able to send me the 10, they were able to send me a backup option at no cost to the hotel where I was staying, and that worked out marvelously. Happy customer here!

Comfortable and flattering
Normally I wear a 6, but lately more often than not I've been fitting into an 8, so I really wasn't sure. I ended up wearing the 6 comfortably. I loved the capsleeves, and got many compliments. The color was a nice dark magenta, and the textured flowers gave it a nice touch.

Sexy, but classy evening dress
I ordered this dress to wear for a night out to a club in Vegas. I loved it! I don't usually like tight fitting dresses because of all the body imperfections they easily show, but this one hid all of that. I got the M and S, and ended up wearing the M, which was perfect. I did have to have just the right strapless bra because of where the peep hole sits, a bigger bra could stick out the bottom.

Very flattering and many compliments
Definitely tighter on bustier women, but comfortable nonetheless. I could've worn the 6 but the zipper wasn't great quality and had trouble getting it past the waist seam. So I went with the 8 to be safe, which was good to have room to eat dinner! It was a great length and very classy looking.
