The waist gives the dress shape but it’s elastic and comfortable- also really enhances your breasts (in a tasteful way).

I think these are awesome and very different than I’d typically go for. Think professional silk pants that feel like pjs. I’m 5’3 (easy to wear w flats) 130lbs. The 4 would have been the best but didn’t have anything but 6. Looser but still fine.

Beautiful but tight arms
Beautiful dress. I'm 5'3 130lb with an athletic build so this fabric on the shoulders is always risky and in this case I'm usually a 4 and sized up to a 6- I didn't wear up because I couldn't comfortably raise my arms.

Wow. So many complements. First dress I feel like I have to buy because I love it despite the fact that when it came on the hanger I was thinking I might not even wear it. The chest doesn't have a ton of stretch fyi.

Beautiful dress but couldn't wear
The construction and quality are beautiful but previous reviews totally right the black back has 0 stretch. I'm 5'3 130lbs but still with extra skin and baby fat from baby 2 and I usually wear a 4 but the black band was so tight I couldn't wear it so I think I'd size up here with my current physique in the midsection and will try again bc it is a very beautiful dress.

Pretty fall dress
It's a beautiful color for fall and nice material. It's not as tight as I was worried based on reviews it's as expected for an expensive sweater dress that being said I put a pair of spanx on bc it shows imperfections as I feel like sweater dresses too. It's not form fitting or hugging though so even with a post partum belly a pair of spanx helps here

Long on a short frame
It's beautiful quality and comfortable. I tend to have more athletic arms so I liked that the arm material is different then the body so it's not tight. I'm 5'3 and this is mid calf so pretty long on a petite frame but I didn't mind. Wore to work during the holidays otherwise might be a bit too much sparkle for the office

I have yet to not wear a rental item but this was not wearable. Something is wrong w the fit (small/medium in the body, XL in the arms/shoulders). It wasn't wearable.

I loved this dress. Agree it is a little fabric heavy on the bottom but still very flattering. The torso portion really doesn't have much give. However, I still have my baby weight/skin so I'm self conscious about the midsection and this hides it well.

I love this dress. It feels beautiful on and is really nice quality. Spanx to cover a mommy tummy. Feels like you might not get it over your head to get in but once it's on fits beautifully.

It's beautiful. I was worried it might look like a curtain? The top is very soft and comfortable and the bottom was beautiful. Great for an outdoor wedding. I'm glad I went with a 4 (130lbs and just had a baby so some post mommy skin to deal with) and I felt this fit nicely and hides very very well if you're self conscious about the mid section. The neck is low but not too low.

It's a beautiful dress. Great for anything cocktail, formal or work related
5'3 and 130lbs post baby with some extra baby love. It's not totally forgiving so you need spanx or some help if you don't want any bumps showing. I would have ordered the size 4 but they were out. Size 6 was totally fine and fit just a slightly loser fit. Would for sure rent again.

It's a beautiful dress. It's classy and simple but the details make it stand out. Loved it.
I'm 130lbs and 5'3. After having a baby recently I still have insecurities with my midsection and was trying to rent a formal dress that didn't accentuate these. This was perfect. I wore the 2R and felt beautiful. I will say if you're 5'3 even with decent sized heels this dress was a little too long but still workable. Would absolutely recommend for any type of formal event.
