Needs accessories
Fit was flattering. A friend wore it with a tan leather jacket and boots and it looked amazing. I did not have a blazer/jacket or sweater to jazz it up, and on its own it is a bit blah.

Interesting dress
It is not as flattering as I though, but still received a few compliments. I am heavier than usual and had some fat visible on the strapless side unless I stood very, very straight.

I felt like I stepped out of a European movie set in a small village to make my rounds to the bakery, butcher and open air market. I thought the dress might be to adorable for a 55 year old woman, but did not once I put it on. I had many compliments by complete strangers. Another flattering dress for those small on top. I wore many times and will be renting again.

Easy to wear and comfortable
I wore this for dinner out. The way the fabric fell I did not need to wear a bra which was great on a hot night. The bright red color is vibrant but not the best for my skin tone. The style is forgiving.

Great for hot days and so many occasions
I tend towards fitted dresses, but this was flattering despite being a swing shift. The fabric pattern was eye catching, and the weight of the fabric and cut of the sleeves made it perfect for days In the 90s. I wore it several times - to work, to dinner, running errands. I will definitely be renting again.

One of my favorites
I realize this dress is not for everyone, but if you have a small rib cage like me (and not much of a bust) then it is very flattering. It literally fit like a glove, and I could have gone up a size and it still would have been fitted. The fabric is absolutely gorgeous. It was in the high 80s outside and once I put my hair up, I did not find it too hot at all. But I likely would have felt differently if dancing at a wedding. I am considering buying it.

Fit is funny
Like others have said, the straps were way too long. When I shortened with safety pins, the bust and waistline hit me too high, and the dress lost its shape. That said, I do have a long torso. The fabric pattern was sweet, though a bit too brown for my skin tone.

Great pattern, color and shape
It is often hard to find blouses that are not boring, but this is one that is far from standard. I received many compliments and wore it to work with black pants and out with jeans and high boots.

Makes you feel like a model
The cut is amazing and subtly sexy. It makes you seem taller and thinner with a defined waist. The print is eye catching as well. I wore it for work, but it would work for dinner out, and the thin fabric would make it great for traveling.

Funky yet feminine
I rented this for Easter brunch and it was perfect. As It was cool outside, a coat was necessary and the leather jacket (also RTR) gave it an edge. It would have worked for the office or dinner out as well.

Fun print and great cut
The color combination is very eye- catching. The slightly puffy shoulders and slight taper to the waist made for a slimming silhouette and did not scream retro to me; rather I thought the overall look was very fresh.

My favorite rental to date!
I have rented this twice and wore it to summer outdoor cocktail party, out for dinner a few times and even to work. The fabric is light and despite the flounces does not feel heavily. I never thought I would wear yellow, but the color was actually flattering and the pattern very pretty.

I loved the edgy style in theory, but it looked horrible when I tried it on. The armholes were too big and there was too much extra fabric. The belt hit at a weird place.

Gorgeous color and pattern
I wore this out for a special dinner with friends. The owner of the restaurant came to my table to compliment the dress! The bottom fit great and I loved the ruching. The reason I did not give it a 5 is because of the top being too low cut, and not the best for my flat chest. Even with a hidden safety pin it did not seem right. That said, my very honest friends liked the low cut on me once I switched to a push up bra.

Pretty but heavy fabric
I loved the dress I pictures. Based on comments about Marchesa in general I sized way up- I wanted a 2 and 4 but the 2 was sold out so I ordered a 4 and 6. Then something happened and I received an alert fromRTR that the 4 was not available. The 6 was huge on top. The 4 would have been as well, but not sure if a 2 would have worked in the hips. I think this dress is not the best for flat chested women.

Sexy and unique
This was a back-up dress for a summer wedding. However, it showed way to much skin so I did not find it appropriate. I wore it out to dinner instead and my girlfriends liked it. I was a bit uncomfortable in it because I felt like it might fall off at any time. Wore it with 2 1/2 inch heels. I would consider renting again for a beach getaway.

Absolutely stunning
One of my favorite dresses to date. I probably could have worn a 0, but the fit was still great and likely more comfortable. I wore it with 2 1/2" wedges and they worked well - no stepping on the back at all. The fabric is gorgeous in quality and style, lightweight and perfect for a summer wedding. I received many compliments. Of the first 13 dresses that I rented, this is in the top 3.

The fabric was lovely and unique but...
...I have a low bust line so the halter lining did not fully cover my breasts. I think it still would be an issue if I sized up. The arms were a bit snug though the skirt fit well, but admittedly my upper arms are a bit large compared to friends at a similar height and weight. The neckline did not work for me; was a bit too high cut.

Not as flattering as I would have thought...
The style is form fitting and feels somewhat mermaidy given the form fitting skirt with flounce at the bottom. The cut if the sleeves and neckline did not work well for my figure. I was going back and forth on whether or not to rent based on user reviews, and did find that the fabric appeared a tad cheap though it was actually nice quality for the price.
