It was awesome and comfortable!
Open through hips...definitely size according to your chest size...I'm a 34 DD, and the 42 fit me great. I wore with red earrings and black heels. Everyone loved it!

Formal dinner
I couldn't zip it up over the fabric at the waist. Dress fit fine everywhere else, and I had room to zip, but just couldn't get it up over the "fabric bump." Dress does run small in the bodice, and I'm sure would have been lovely, if I could have gotten it on, but ended-up wearing something else at the last minute.

Really loved this dress! Very high quality and everyone I spoke to COULD NOT BELIEVE it was a rental! The green was perfect, since I was at a Mardi Gras ball, but I agree with other reviewers about the chaffing under the arms from the sequins. I will suffer for fashion. I have found other Badgley dresses to be a bit stretchy - that is not the case with this dress, it is form fitting, so make sure you order your true to size and probably one size up if you're like me and have larger hips. Again, such a fun dress to wear!!!

These earrings were perfect!! They are substantial in size, but it was nice to wear something that didn't get lost in all my hair, and I got a ton of compliments on them all night long. They are totally a standout piece, but I wore them with a sequined gown and they weren't "too much." Also, loved them so much that I wore them the evening before to the formal dinner. Will definitely rent these babies again!!

Wore this dress to the Human Rights Campaign's Annual Gala in DC. It was a stand-out piece!
I'm about 5'3, 135 lbs with some Italian hips, so renting a long dress was a pretty big gamble, as most things I buy have to be purchased one or two sizes larger and then tailored. This dress was the exception. I tried on the six first and it fit great, but was a little tight in the hips - the eight fit perfectly. The fabric is very forgiving and flattering: I instantly felt a big confidence boost, as my hips actually looked smaller in this dress. I got so many compliments all night long, and on Facebook the next day, and I will definitely rent this one again! I highly recommend this dress to anyone looking to make a glamorous entrance...or who wants to fulfill their childhood dream of becoming a human disco ball. A couple of points to know before you rent...the dress does not have a zipper. You will have to put it on over your head, and your up-do. It wasn't easy, but as long as you keep the sequins away from your hair while tugging it over, you should get away with pretty minimal damage. Second - the dress was shorter than I thought it would be and I had nothing to go with the color shoe wise. I normally wear four inch heels, which would have worked with the dress, but since my shoes weren't the right color for the dress, I bought some 2.5 inch "Sunday special" shoes at Macys. This dress is a true rose gold color, so you may want to rent a clutch that matches/find some shoes in advance that won't detract from the dress.
