This dress is hands down amazing. I received tons of compliments and lived how I looked and felt in the gown. I tried on the dress before renting at the RTR store in New York. I'm glad I did because it's a cut that I am not used to wearing and trying it on have me the confidence to wear the look for a family wedding, especially because it's not a dress you can wear with a bra Pros: gorgeous color, revealing without being too much, loads of compliments Cons: hard to get on and off, a little long for petite girls (I wore 3 inch heels), can't wear a bra Overall I loved the dress and would definitely rent again

I loved the look of this dress, super simple, and I got a lot of compliments. This was the second look I ordered, so I only ordered one size, the 4. I wish I had gotten the 2 because the 4 felt a little large and I constantly had to adjust the top because it was a little loose.

I wore the dress to a Kentucky Derby themed, night-time Semi-Formal at my University. I went to the RTR boutique at Bendels in NYC to try on dresses which is how I decided on this style. At the boutique I tried on a 0 and it fit perfectly, which is a bit shocking because I'm usually either a 2-4. I ordered the 0 and 2 as a back up size. When the dresses arrived the tulle was a bit hinky, but I immediately took them out of the garment bags and hung the dresses up and fluffed the tulle a bit. I also noticed that the lace was not sitting nicely, nor was the zipper going up smoothly (dress defect) on the 0 so almost immediately I decided to wear the 2. I could never have expected so many compliments! Although I wish I wore the 0 to get a better fit, the 2 looked great and in the end, the dress exemplified Southern Charm, Kentucky Derby culture while still being sexy enough for a night time event.
