Fun design
Pros: tight like Herve Leger, so it held you in - didn't need Spanx. Fun, edgy design. Cons: The only way to get this dress on is to step into it. I tried another dress from this designer and literally could not get it over my head. But stepping into it worked! One word of caution - I'm pretty "hip-y". And this design someone highlights your hips. So if you're self-conscious about your hips, this may not be the dress for you. However, if you have no hips, this dress will make you look like you do! Felt the size was true - I'm normally a 4 and wore a 4.

Perfect dress for a "purple" themed holiday party
Pros: super pretty ombre - the top starts off a little more mauve than purple (a little different from the picture) and then gets darker to black. Pretty flattering and easy to get on. Cons: sequins irritated my underarms. Dress was quite a bit shorter than I was anticipating (and I'm only 5'4!) and the lining was about 1.5 inches longer than the dress, so I had to hollywood tape up the hem of the lining so it didn't show. I'm a street size 4 and the 4 fit perfectly.

Great dress for Roaring 20's theme party
Loved this dress for our theme party. Paired it with a feather/beaded head piece. Fit well and was comfortable the entire night - liked the back design too!

Actually comfortable!
I would say these run a little large. On my wedding day, I was about 120lbs, 5'4, and so I got the small (kind of in between sizes) and they really weren't "Spanx tight". I got them more to "smooth things out" rather than suck it in, so for me, they were perfect. And surprisingly comfortable. Wore them the entire day/night and barely noticed them!

Fun Derby party dress
Rented this for a Kentucky Derby party - so fun and comfortable! I'm a "street size" 4, and the 2 was a little bit big, but definitely wearable. It's short - but I'm am too, so it was fine! Tons of compliments on it all day.

LOVE these!!
I rented these (along with ML At First Sight Sheath and Ben-Amun Pearl Trellis Bracelet) for my early wedding reception (actual wedding next month). Absolutely in love with them! Felt great, perfect size to be seen but not be too "loud" or fake. First RTR rental in the last couple of years where I seriously wish I could keep them forever. I think I'll re-rent them for my actual wedding! The photographer will give me some better pics soon that I'll post - this is all I have for now. Updated: I ended up buying these and wearing them on my wedding day cause I loved them so much! Pic attached.

Beautiful and Classy dress
This was a new dress - so no reviews to help me decide. Thankfully, RTR carries this same dress in other colors, so I was able to check those. I wore this to my wedding reception. Pros: Absolutely gorgeous - it's quite a bit "creamier" in color than a typical ivory, so keep that in mind. It's definitely more ivory than white by far. The open back is very pretty. So much lace, so I felt no need to dress it up with anything more than a bracelet (Ben-Amun Pearl Trellis Bracelet) and earrings (Ben-Amun Petite Peacock Pearl Earrings). I went braless and wore Spanx. Cons: only two really - I'm 5'4, so with low heels, the dress came to mid-knee on me - which, under the circumstances was fine. And it did pull kind of funny across the hips. It fit me fine, but had some weird pull/fold at the hips. I'm pretty "hippy" though, so you may not have that problem if you have more of a straight figure. I originally ordered the 0 and 2. Couldn't even zip the 2. I'm a "street size" 4, and I ended up wearing a 4 in this dress (had them overnight it to my location). Great experience!

Stood out!
Love this dress. It was overnighted to my hotel when my first dress didn't work out. I wore it to a black-tie (ish) 10 year anniversary work event. Pros: figure flattering (no spanx needed), great colors, definitely stands out against all black cocktail dresses. Cons: It runs small!! I couldn't even get the small over my thighs! (I've got curvy hips) The medium was perfect, but definitely shows off every curve. It was much longer than I expected. At 5'4, it went to the bottom of my knees. Another RTR dress I rented was listed as the same length but wasn't nearly as long - not sure which one was stated incorrectly? And lastly, I couldn't fit a strapless bra in the dress, but I wish I had packed bra/nipple petals to avoid the potential embarrassment in the cold - just be warned :) And towards the end of the night the "sleeves" couldn't figure out if they wanted to be on my shoulder or off. Otherwise got a ton of compliments and really enjoyed wearing something so unique! And thanks to RTR for saving me the last minute!

Just big enough to make a statement
I really liked these earrings, but the one thing I didn't realize is they are not full drops in shape. Only the front. It's like they were cut in half to make the 2 earrings each appear like round "drop" earrings. So if you wore your hair up, and someone was behind you, they'd see the unsightly "back" of the earring instead of the pretty front.

Awkward Fit
I rented this dress for a fancy work party, but didn't end up wearing it. Along with being much shorter than expected (and I'm only 5'4), the back gaped out instead of laying against my back (at least the size small did). The rest of the dress was skin tight, but the back looked very awkward. Had I had really long hair, I could have just worn my hair down and covered it, but didn't have that option. Thankfully, RTR overnighted another dress to my hotel which worked out perfectly!

Classy with just the right amount of sparkle.
This was a beautiful dress, and perfect for a "blue" themed champagne party. Definitely stretchy, but I thought the straps were a tad tight/too short. Came down to almost my knee (5'4) but it was nice since the neckline was plunging. The only issue I had with the dress (which is a surprisingly big issue - I'm surprised no other reviewer mentioned it) is that the bodice criss-crosses in front, but it's not attached fully to the rest of the dress. So if you life your arms up, it looks like there's a ripped seam 2 inches across under each breast! It will actually expose the underneath of your breasts. I thought it was just damaged, but upon closer examination realized it was as-designed (and on both sizes). I'm not sure why they'd do that - a lot of worry about a "wardrobe malfunction". I ended up using a couple of safety pins under each side of the bust to pin all the material together so I didn't have to stand perfectly still all night. That worked fine - gorgeous dress - yet surprised at that design.

Wasn't flattering on me
I got this dress as a backup for a wedding I traveled to in Napa. Had the dresses delivered to the hotel. Thankfully the other dress worked great, as this one (although the size I chose fit - I'm a 4 in regular clothes and I ordered the 2 in this dress based on other reviews) was not at all flattering on me. I could tell I wasn't imagining things when I saw my boyfriend's reaction. It looked almost like one of those terrycloth wraps you put on after a shower. Granted, the material is soft and beautiful, and the colors are great. But it in no way flattered my body. So glad I had the choice of the other dress for this occasion.

Beautiful dress in a fun color!
I ended up wearing this dress - but just barely. I'm usually a 2-4, and based on other reviews, I ordered a 4 and a 6. It took 2 of us to zip up the 6 because the chest was so tight. Once it was zipped, it was actually pretty comfortable. But if you have a decent size bust, SIZE UP!!! The dress really was such a pretty color and flowed beautifully. I thought it was quite flattering, but wish I had a little bit of wiggle room up top. Obviously at 5'4, the dress was longer on me than the model pic, but not so long to be frumpy. Wore it to a beautiful outdoor wedding - fit in great!

Much too small - difficult to put on!
This was my first RTR dress that I had to return without wearing. After reading the reviews, I ordered an XS and Small (my regular sizes). I felt like a contortionist trying to get into the small. I definitely do not think it was made for curvy girls. I'm not sure the Medium would have been flattering. If you're less curvy, I imagine it would be flattering. Material was quite a bit thicker than I expected. However, in true RTR fashion, I was easily able to return for credit with no hassles. Their customer support team always delivers great service!!

Fun, flirty dress!
This was the perfect dress for a fundraiser with a "Carnivale: Night in Rio" theme. It was a dark hot pink - almost red color. I'd agree with the other reviewers that said it has a tendency to slide down a little, so if you're larger busted, just be warned that you will be adjusting throughout the night. It also wrinkles easy - I had to steam parts of it before I wore it. Although the 4 also fit, it seemed to be quite a bit longer, so I stuck with the 2. Overall a great, fun dress!

Classy Dress!
Got lots of compliments on this dress I wore to a holiday fashion show. Although there were lots of "black sequined" dresses, I felt that this one stood out because of the high neck and long sleeves. It was pretty short on me (and I'm only 5'4), but since the rest of the dress was conservative, it was fine. Found it difficult to move my arms too much as the sleeves were constricting, so probably wouldn't be a good dancing dress. But if you're going to an event where you are mostly standing around - it looks great :)

Wearing such a bold dress
I wore this for a fashion show I attended. Fit is typical of Herve - super tight at first, but you get some breathing room as the night goes on. The only problem I had with the fit is the top was a little too wide, so it was a little loose - almost like I needed broader shoulders to wear it properly (although I have pretty broad shoulders already). But it wasn't a huge deal - got lots of compliments - mostly from strangers. It's definitely a bold dress - people had definite opinions on it! But I really enjoyed wearing it.

A unique look
Although this dress has no stretch, it fit perfectly. I didn't use any fashion tape with it, but came close to a couple of "wardrobe malfunctions". :) I'd suggest keeping some tape on hand if you notice it shifting during the night (where the cutouts are, it worked for me, but for some it could be a little iffy - no bra). I loved that it was a little longer than most dresses, so it balanced out the daring sides! Had a little trouble keeping the straps twisted evenly on both sides (one side was tacked better than the other), but no big deal in the overall look. Surprisingly light-weight material.

Lots of compliments!
I ordered this dress for a Black Tie cocktail party, but also had to attend 3 other parties that evening as well. I wasn't "wowed" when I first saw the dress, but I got a ton of compliments that evening. When I first tried on the dress, I was worried there was no way it would fit. But actually, after it was zipped up, it fit great! (They didn't have my backup size, so thankfully it ended up working). The lining on the size 4 was hanging down, but I just tacked it up with a little Hollywood Tape. Hopefully RTR will fix. Overall very good experience!
