Beautifu l fabric - gappy top
I read several reviews saying the top gapped and it's true. I'm a 34D and typically wear a size 4. Thank goodness for help pinning in the sides. The waist was a good fit, true to size. The fabric is heavy brocade and hangs beautifully but has no give. If I owned the dress I would have taken it in the bust and adjusted the back straps. Wore with 4" heels and it just came to the ground. The shape of the skirt made it very fun to dance in.

Great color, small bust
I typically wear a 4 and rented both a 4 and a 6. The 6 fit around the hips but was very tight across the bust so I couldn't wear it. The fabric has no give. For a 6 you need to be smaller than a 34C bust.

This dress runs wide in the hips. I typically wear a 4, and rented a 4 - but the hips stuck out even after ironing.

The fabric, drape and pockets make this dress amazing!
I ordered a 4 and a 6 for back-up. The 4 was tight in the bust but fit better overall - so I decided to go with no bra and go with the 4. I had plenty of support, This dress hangs and moves beautifully. The higher front creates a billow effect in the back when you walk. And the pockets were great! I didn't have to hassle with a purse. Phone and lip gloss at the ready all night. I wore it with 4" heels and the train brushed the ground.

Very comfortable for dining and dancing
This was a bit snug in the bust but fit everywhere else quite well. It's a really flattering cut and the bandage style holds everything in in just the right way.

I ended up not wearing this dress as I found the material - especially the sleeves to be very itchy. And it hits at an odd place in the leg. I think the cut would work best for someone 5'4" or shorter.

Gorgeous color - better for pear fit
This dress runs tight in the bust and large in the hips. I'm a 34D and the v neck helped me fit into the top. I had ordered the 8 as a backup size but the hips run large and the material so voluminous that I felt like I was drowning in that size. The sleeve hole are also cut extremely small/tight. It was fine for a sit down dinner party, but would not work for something more active like dancing.

Heavy material very full skirt
Despite the description, you can't wear a standard bra with this dress. the arm holes and the back are cut so low that a regular bra shows clearly The material is very heavy - almost like a quilted material. My daughter walked into the room when I was trying this on and instantly said "that makes your hips look huge!". Good thing it was a back-up. Not for my body type.

Gorgeous color, no give in material
This dress is beautiful but be aware, there is no give in the material, and this dress runs very tight in the bust. Next size up would have been too big around, so I wore a minimizer bra. Worked fine for day time party, would not have worked for dancing or a hot location.

beware scratchy lace
Based on the reviews I ordered both a 6 and an 8. The 8 fit nicely everywhere except the neck.The big challenge for me was the steep angle of the lace around the neck and how much it cut in. The relatively narrow opening combined with the stiffness of the lace made it so I couldn't wear the dress. I last about 3 minutes in it before I changed to a back up alternative.

cute style, you need a good push up strapless bra
Even with Spanx this dress did not flatter my backside - too much ruching. The cut of the top is eye-catching but also has the effect of making your breasts look lower. Given the cut you really need a strapless bra. I didn't have one with enough lift to make it fit right.

I have a fairly small wrist (6") and I could barely get this on, it runs very small. The texture on the leather; makes the bracelet look a bit cheap.

Beautiful color - challenging fit
I ordered size 38 and a size 40 as a backup. My rib cage is 33". The size 38 I couldn't being to zip up over that area, the 40 I could just zip up, but then the bust area was really large. I think this dress is suited for someone with a larger difference between size and cup than 34D, perhaps 32DD. The color is as vibrant as pictures. The chains are not too heavy

Beautiful green, flattering fit
The color and fabric on this dress are amazing. And with the built in cups I didn't need a bra even as a D cup. Due to zipper malfunction I couldn't wear this to my event (RTR is being very gracious in how they are handling it). The dress is very fitted through the waist and rib cage, and the Long wasn't very long. I'd recommend ordering up, and if you are more than about 5'9" or 5'10" I think you'd need to wear with flats. Will definitely order for future event - would make a great dress for holiday parties.

The color is breath-taking and fit gorgeous
I wore this dress to the Emmy awards and it fit right in with all the glamourous gowns there. The Long is very Long. Even with 5" heels there was much length left - had to tape the hem a couple inches. I have a full bra with a very low connector in the front and that wes perfect for undergarment. It's so flowing, no Spanx required! I did wear a short slip though - with the slit so high sitting meant moments of brief exposure - so the slip covered me as I adjusted. Would definitely rent again

Fits beautifully and moves with you - even on crutches!
I broke my ankle a few days before my event, so I was worried about how the dress would work. It was wonderful. Very comfortable, moved with me and gave just enough in all the right spots. I received compliments all evening. Some Nichole Miller dresses run tight in the rear-end, this one runs true to size, and I could wear a normal bra and not have it show in front of in the back cut-out.
