so elegant!
love the style, completely different than any other dress I saw at the event, many people stopped and fawned over it. definitely recommend double-sided tape to avoid exposure. my one (minor) beef with this dress is that it is NOT very stretchy, even though it looks like it would be. I also got a small, which fit but i would have been pretty unhappy by the end of the night. Ended up wearing the medium, which was much more comfortable.

pretty dress, red really stands out in a sea of dark colors
Great dress, felt pretty and got lots of compliments. Only gripe is that the material is unforgiving, there is no stretch whatsoever so sizing has to be spot on, and you have to get used to restricted arm movement on the one side. I got 2R as a backup size and I wasn't able to zip it. Because of this, I just went and measured myself to try and help anyone else who has a similar body- the smallest part of my waist is 27.5", and my ribcage right under my boobs is 31". The 4R fit perfectly but there was NO extra room.

beautiful, unique dress in a sea of black
really pretty material, sparkly without being over the top. the inner lining (black) does kinda roll outward a bit where the shoulder is, which i had to keep adjusting, but not a big deal. there is a little stretch but not a ton. the little fold above the abdomen is somewhat forgiving in the belly area, but the dress is still pretty clingy. overall it was a win!

This is SUCH a pretty dress, very flattering, but not the most comfortable thing
one of the main reasons i chose this dress was because i was unsure of how formal to go (dress code was "cocktail," which can be pretty broadly interpreted in my experience) and i thought this was a safe bet. it ended up being perfect! the midriff cutout keeps it from being matronly, which i worried about with the long sleeves and lace. color was really nice for fall. my main gripe is that it wasn't very comfortable- i expected the lace to be a little scratchy (which it was, not terribly so) but there is also no stretch whatsoever in the dress so it got tighter as the night wore on. still happy with it overall though.

pretty dress, definitely has WOW factor
really pretty, definitely BRIGHT red. a little baggy in the waist/hip area on me, but not bad. decided it might be a little too formal for my event, so went with second choice. fabric is lighter than i expected, which i would appreciate if it was going to be hot.

Wore this to a wedding and felt great, really feel like the style was unlike anything the other guests were wearing (one of my favorite things about RTR dresses). pros- unique, lace is beautiful, back is beautiful cons- unless you have a large bust the top/neck runs big, I had to safety pin the neck tighter so it wasn't baggy. also had to use boob tape, there isn't a good way to wear a bra with this, the "stripe" around the waist and between the boobs is made of tiny cutouts, and shows skin. also the hem under the lace at the bottom IS short, but that didn't bother me.

Very elegant, beautiful color
I did not end up wearing this, it was my backup dress and I thought it had more of a business/work vibe than a wedding vibe. Really comfortable, great dress though. I think the style would be perfect for an event like a work conference, has a very professional look.

if you're between a 4 and a 6- get the 6
I did not end up wearing this, I got it zipped but barely, and would have been super uncomfortable. I was so disappointed, the dress is gorgeous and the color is so unique. I am posting this to help anyone that wants a size 6 but can usually wear a 4 also- this isn't one of those. There is hardly any stretch in the material.

totally into the big flowy shirts, however this one is just absurd. there is so much material happening i would have felt ridiculous if i had worn it. the weight of the fabric in the back pulls it up in the front, if you wear it i think tucking the front would be best

i loved everything about this shirt except for it being SO SHORT!! i really wanted to wear it because I loved the color and style, tried putting a cami underneath but even that looked ridiculous. gave up and sent it back :( i am so sick of every "regular" top being almost a crop top, i can't be the only one out there who hates high rise jeans and can't make these things work.

beautiful, comfortable dress! works for pregnant belly
I decided to rent a dress since I am 6+ months pregnant and did not want to buy something for one occasion. This was my first RTR so I was nervous, but overall pleased with the experience! I was hoping that by ordering a few sizes up from usual (I received an 8L and a 10L, wore the 10) and looking for stretchy fabric, I'd be able to accommodate my belly, and it worked! The sequins are beautiful and eye-catching without being overly flashy, and the dress isn't heavy at all. I did feel like the sleeves are somewhat restrictive (hard to raise your arms above shoulder-height for dancing) and there were lots of little threads coming off of the dress (hence four stars instead of five). Lots of other reviewers have mentioned this, but its worth repeating that you will probably need someone to help you zip it- its just a catchy zipper for some reason. I thought it was the perfect dress for someone looking for something very curve-hugging without being super tight/potentially unflattering, the ruching is very forgiving and the lining very comfortable.
