Short ladies need wedge heels.
I rented this for a Hawaii vacation. Size XS fit well in the body. Fabric is more black striped (for some reason I thought it was gray) and it drapes beautifully. However, it was a bit too long for my 5'2 height. Even after shortening the adjustable shoulder straps, I felt like the rear hem might get stepped on at any moment, due to the low-high hem. Beautiful dress!

Perfect for the Beach
Rented for a Hawaii vacation. 0 would have fit but felt a bit snug across the chest. Preferred the size 2 for a looser, flowy fit since we were eating dinner. Fabric is light and breezy, perfect for a warm/hot day. Loved the pop of color! I am 5'2 and the length fell mid-thigh, which was great for my petite frame.

Comfy and chic.
I usually wear a 2P (28 inch waist) and the 2 fit well. Just enough room for some wedding dinner indulging but comfy enough to dance in. Length hit below the knee on my 5'2 frame. No stretch in the fabric so be wary if you have curvier hips. LOVED the back detail using the lace. If only it came in a bright color!

Fit ran large. I'm normally a 2 or 2P and wore the XS. I'm 5'2 so the length hit above the knee, which was modest but still fun enough. Not scratchy at all. Loved all the sequins.

Great for dancing!
I have 27-28" waist and sized up to the S because the XS felt a bit too snug to fully enjoy dinner & dancing at my friend's wedding. Fabric is a thick, stretchy ponte which hides imperfections and has a beautiful pattern. Strapless bra is easily hidden or could go without. I wore this to an outdoor July wedding with 90°F temps, and the fabric felt too heavy. Would be perfect for a slightly cooler day. Really loved where the dress fell below my knees on my 5'2 frame. I paired these with the Kendra Scott Mother of Pearl earrings. Thanks, RtR!

A dress with pockets!
Worn for a corporate party in December. Sized up to a 4 because as other reviews noted -- the sleeves run tight. Love that the dress has pockets and it fell at perfect length for my 5'2 frame.

Elegant and lightweight
Beautiful pearl finish and great length for my small face. I wore them for 8 hours, and they didn't feel heavy at all, even with lots of dancing at a wedding.

Perfect for a bridal shower!
Past reviews were right - it's tight in the arms/shoulders, so I sized up to 2. My arms, at their widest point, are about 10.5" around for reference. I loved the fitted bodice and flared skirt , which accommodated my larger lower half and made it comfortable to move around. The pockets were a bonus! Being 5'2, I'm usually worried about dresses being too long, but this one hit nicely at the knee. I added a skinny belt to divvy up the dress. It's a great length for having to sit in a chair while opening presents without the dress riding up. I received many compliments throughout the shower and was sad to return the dress!

I ordered both the 0 and 2, and while I could squeeze into the 0, the size 2 was much more comfortable. The ruching hid all the appetizers I ate during the wedding but still had the perfect amount of stretch to accentuate curves. Length was great for dancing, and I loved the color!

Subtle yet sexy!
This dress hugs in all the right places! No problems wearing a strapless bra with it. I'm 5"2 and wore 2.5" heels with the 0R size, which allowed the dress to skim the ground. I actually wanted to size up to the 2P but it was surprisingly too long for my heel + height combo. Really happy with this dress and can't wait to try other colors.
