Beautiful lace, fun silhouette
The lace on this dress is beautiful - I got tons of compliments all day. I have a long torso, so there was some loose extra fabric between my waist and hips in both the size 0 and 2 I tried on, but it wasn't too obvious. I generally wear a 2 and this fit better than the 0, which was a bit tight through the shoulders. I do have broad shoulders, but I still don't think this dress runs large enough to need a full size down, at least for my body type.

Weird fit, but still looked okay in pics!
I rented this dress for a black-tie optional Christmas party. It really is a beautiful dress, but the fit was really weird on me. I am 5'9" and about 135 lbs, usually a 4-6 in dresses, and ordered the 4L and 6L. First of all, I think the dress ran a little short, so I would absolutely not recommend for anyone 5'9" and above. It appeared a little longer in the back than in the front on me, but not in the model photos. Second, the 4L was a little tight on my hips...but so was the 6L! The only difference was that the 6L was much bigger on top, so I ended up wearing the 4L even though it felt tight on the hips. To be honest the 4L was a little big on top too, but I do have a small bust. It looked okay in pictures, but scrutinizing myself in the mirror it definitely fell across my hips weirdly. So moral of the story: do NOT rent if you have hips!!! It would have looked (and felt) really great on someone with slimmer hips, but it just did not fit right on a more hourglass figure.

Beautiful dress!
This dress is GORGEOUS and I got so many compliments! I wore it for an afternoon Catholic wedding with an evening reception. At ~5'9" and wearing ~2.5" heels, the length was just about as perfect as it could be without being personally fitted for it. There was definitely some extra room in the chest area for me (though you couldn't really tell), but otherwise it was a beautiful fit! It was even great for dancing. You definitely need to wear a strapless or racerback bra with this dress; a normal bra would definitely show the straps.
