A Parisian Cher Horowitz
This one popped in my DMs with a "hi you" and I want back to her, remembering only the good times. Stylistically it's is a compliment hound. Functionally a tad fussy. The straps kept slipping off my shoulders but that also sounds like a me and all my fellow short girlies problem. (Low five to all y'all). Pair with lug sole loafers or combat boots to balance out the valedictorian with girl smoking behind the bleachers. Prep? Punk? French? Cher Horowitz? Who is she? She contains multitudes.

The one that got away
The fact that $370 is keeping me from making her my forever purse is a modern Greek tragedy. She felt perfect on my arm, giving every look a kind of whimsy that says when I grow old I'll wear oversize glasses and my non-sequiturs will make me an abstract icon. The quality smells like Scandinavia and the design like Marimekko meets Amelie. Like tarzans dead parents, she'll be in my heart - always.

The chicest sausage casing
I should have listened to reviewers and gone up two sizes instead of one but I opted for optimism. I did manage to squeeze into these and did love them despite feeling like a sexy sausage and needing to wear a panty liner to avoid that classic dromedary toe problem! If you want to feel like a carefree girl from the 70s who isn't addicted to her cell phone because they don't exist yet but also wear a chic brand you can only pull off while you're still young hot and poor, rent these!

I came back for seconds with these bad boys, which says a lot in a world/app of endless choice. These make me feel like Maggie Rogers baring her soul at a tiny desk concert. Too bad I can't sing well so my creative outlet is...RTR reviews? I digress. 2 girls chased me down a block to ask where I got em. It was like the catcall got a positive brand refresh. Keep em coming ladies. Get these and pair them with clogs and look like the type of girl who throws ceramic mugs & is at peace with aging.

Unless you are a 5'9 waif, which tbh if you were you wouldn't be here you'd be getting sample items direct from moody designers named Jacques, this dress will probably make you look a bit more matronly than you'd like. Maybe you can pull it off if you're French but this chesty ashkenazi bagel bae couldn't quite work it, even with trendy 90s lug sole loafers. Cest la vie!

Flattering, form fitting, fun
I don't usually go for fitted all over dresses but this pattern was so unique and fun it toned down the potential vampyness. The material was thick so it was forgiving. It was a biiiit too long for someone 5'2 so it bunched up a bit in the middle but not too bad. The straps are adjustable which was great. I got lots of people asking where I got it.
