I ordered a size down because that was all that was available. I was in love with the dress and it was my #1 choice so I wanted to try. I would have worn it if I would have been able to dance in it. I think going down a size (to the 6) maybe impacted the mobility because other reviewers said it was great for dancing. My backup fit much better, though, so I went with that one. I am 5'10" (143 lbs as of trying it on) with a 33" inseam and it would have forced me into tiny steps.

I have very long arms (am 5'10") and the bit of elastic caught a bit higher up in my wrists than I would like. I didn't want me up wearing it due to how it fit (waist could be flattering or really not, depending upon how I tugged it) but love the print.

This dress is gorgeous and the details are so beautiful. I love the fit (of the next size up) and weight of it. The material lends itself to wrinkles almost like linen, but it's still my favorite rental to date.

This made me feel insecure about my back and that's one spot I have not been embarrassed about before. Also, I read in some of the reviews that somebody use this for work. I'm not sure what they do, but my corporate office not the place for such a formal material. (But the need for pasties instead of a bra is accurate.) My husband was also pretty vocal about not liking the color, which I can only call chartreuse. He called it the color of bile. I did not wear it.
