Slightly elevated basic
The distinctive sleeves make this dress just a little more special than a basic ponte fit-and-flare work dress. It was so comfortable as well!

Comfy and elegant!
I'm wary of true wraps because they can be too revealing with my DDD chest. But the slightly textured fabric of this dress meant that it worked like a wrap dress is supposed to work, that is, customizable to your body and secure once tied. Wore out to dinner on our 20th wedding anniversary.

This dress runs a little small, not VERY small like other DVF dresses I've gotten from RTR (her wrap dresses won't close around me!). Very chic. The top overlay is flattering to the waist. The back zipper is too short, making getting into the dress more of a wrestling match than it should be, but once it's on you're fine. Great, very heavyweight ponte.

Beautiful color, a little boxy
Gorgeous sky blue (but a shade darker than it looks on the website--definitely will not be mistaken for white). The neckline was pretty but the shape was a little oversized/boxy compared to other LK Bennett dresses in the same size.

Flattering
The ruching was flattering to my apple shape. The angled neckline and color felt a tiny bit dated/"older" to me, but it was bright and good for pale skin/dark hair.

Good red
Great simple work dress. It's a bright, warm tomato red. Worked well on my apple shape--not too big in the shoulders like some dresses in my size.

Cute, flattering, SHORT
This dress was very flattering to an apple body shape--the non-stretch fabric held in my tummy and the ruffle skirt balances out a larger middle. But it is SHORT. It looked like a cheerleader uniform on me, with the hem practically at my hips. I had to wear it with leggings and I still felt like it wasn't quite appropriate for my age (early 40s). I'm quite tall (5'10") but I think you'd have to be a *lot* shorter than me, like less than 5'4", to wear this with bare legs. The fabric is great quality, though, and the print couldn't be cuter, without being cutesy.

Springish but modern
I liked the dark-background floral print; I wore it to an outdoor Easter party and felt seasonal but understated/modern. As a tall person, the length was OK on me, but the waist was a bit high, so the fullness of the skirt was emphasized and I felt a little bit like a lampshade. The buttons gapped over my bust so I wore a black cami underneath.

Gorgeous but short
I wore this with a black jacket over it for work. The lace overlay looked beautiful but subtle and not too eveningy. The brown/copper tones of the dress also helped it be a "day" look. Very flattering -- fitted but not tight. The only negative was that it's SO short. I'm 5'10" and it was barely decent. I had to go with black tights, flats, and *no* bending over.

Luxe, well-made, flattering
The contrast of black and blue is really stylish. The ribbed mesh insets in the body are lined with illusion material and the whole dress is lined with satin. Very flattering. The only downside is that if you have narrow shoulders, there's a bit of extra room in the shoulders. I wore it for work with grey tights and black ankle boots.
