I am standardly anywhere between a size 8 and 12 in dresses. I have rented many Rent the Runway dresses before and have always been incredibly happy. This time, however, I was not. I could barely zip the size 12 and it was cutting off my circulation. This dress runs incredibly small and because it arrived on Wednesday evening (around 7 pm) before my event that I was leaving for at 6 am on Thursday am, I was unable to wear the dress (either size) or the earrings that I rented. Please be aware that this dress runs incredibly small and the material is not very stretchy if you order it. I'm not sure I could've even squeezed into a 14 if it had been available.

I rented these and wore them with the Shoshanna Hailey Gown. They matched perfectly and were great. My only complaint is that they made my ears hurt a little after wearing them for 6 hours! They started off the night not too heavy, but were hurting my ears by the end!

I ordered this dress in an 8L and a 10L for a black tie wedding. I pulled it out on Thursday night and was excited, as the material was thick and of great quality. I tried on the 10 first and was concerned, because although the length was great and it zipped up nicely, the fit made me look like I was pregnant. I crossed my fingers that the 8 would zip and it did. The divide between the black top and the brocade bottom cut into my ribs a bit, but with some shapewear and the right bra, it worked. The dress was comfortable and had pockets, which were an awesome surprise. My only complaint was that despite ordering the Long, the dress barely grazed the floor, meaning the shoes I had planned to wear with it (heels) were a no go. I threw on some flat sandals, but would have loved to wear heels. I am 5'11", so I can imagine that for anyone 5'10" or above, heels simply won't be an option. Otherwise, it was a great dress and another RTR success story!

This dress was perfect for a 5 p.m. wedding at a Botanical Garden. I paired it with the Kenneth Jay Lane Clear Drop Earrings and it was perfect. I have recently lost weight and was concerned about the Medium being too small so I ordered the Large as my primary size but was SO glad I had ordered the Medium. I paired it with some Spanx and a backless bra and I was set. I had so many people come up to me and ask how I got the dress to fit so perfectly. It definitely hugs your figure, but in all the right ways. It was easy to dance in and I didn't feel like I was pulling it down the whole night (which is great, especially as someone who is 5'11"). Definitely a showstopper!
