I've rented from RTR many times for many black tie events, and as someone who is a "tall" I like gowns to skim the floor so although it fit, I was still hesitant to wear it because once I put on my 3.5 - 4in heels, my feet were visible and buying "shorter" heels was out of the question. I even went to the RTR here in NY and tried on other options until every stylist in the store told me this dress was "the" dress and I was making a big deal out of it for nothing. It absolutely fit true to size but I wore a compression garment underneath just in case, and after a few shots of tequila before I left home I didn't mind that it wasn't skimming the floor - and nobody else seemed to mind either! Yay! I also rented the capelet and earrings from RTR to complete the look and received compliments all night. Who doesn't love that? Another big thank you to RTR and the local stylists who got me out of my head and into the dress!

I was hired to sing at a wedding out of town and the bride gave me her colors so I wouldn't "clash" with the bridesmaids in ceremony photos. I'd seen this dress on RTR and since I'm usually a 12 I was concerned that the 8 would be too small (considering airplane bloat, celebratory drinks, etc). But when it arrived at my office the day before my trip, I took it home, tried it on and it fit PERFECTLY. I'm so glad I paid attention to the fitting instructions. It definitely is two sizes larger than the number on the hang tag. I had to sew the front flap back to its original position since it came undone either in transit or the last wear, but on performance day, I looked and felt comfortable and received many compliments from guests. Even the bride loved the dress. Thanks again RTR!

This was a dress I picked (along with another) for the Grammys taping in LA and once again, RTR didn't disappoint. They delivered the dresses to my hotel on time and the fit was perfect! I have to take away 1 star since the belt wasn'[t included but, fortunately, I'd packed dressy belts and that problem was solved. The dress was the perfect floor-skimming length and I could dance all night comfortably! The next day, I popped both dresses in their return bag and left it at the front desk to mail. Since I'd rented from RTR in the past, I considered myself a pro and decided to order another dress for the annual televised event in LA I was to attend. My first time, I didn't use the option of the 2nd dress for $25 but I was a little concerned that my enjoying the bread basket prior to the trip would render me a little "fluffy" so I took the necessary precaution. Since I was traveling and didn't want to ruin the dresses in transit, I had them delivered to my hotel and they came ON TIME....I ended up going with my first pick for the night ONLY because I wanted it skim the floor and this dress hit me at the ankles.(I'm tall) Had it been a different occasion, I wouldve totally used it.
