The dress was slightly smaller than expected, I got an XS and it was very fitted and short. I would have been more comfortable in a S. But that being said was the perfect classic layer to jazz up for a rodeo themed gala dinner. I'd rent again just go for a S instead of XS.

I wore this for date night with my husband. The absolute WORST neckline ever made (maybe its me??). I wore with a strapless bra due to the large square neckline, but the opening was so big I was constantly pulling it up or closed the entire dinner. Sleeves were too big and kept falling off my shoulder (not in a cute way). The rest of the dress fit well so I wouldn't be able to size down and risk the buttons pulling. It was NWT and i got complements on it when I was standing and not moving. But wouldn't recommend for seated dinner as I gave my server a show multiple times when it was gapping open or slipping off.

I enjoyed wearing this dress. The color and neckline with the collar was very nice. Fit overall was great. It is a HEAVY material -- so def cannot wear it when it warms up in TX. And because it was such a heavy material it did feel like it pulled down and on my 5'4" frame it make the dress awkwardly too long. If I were to buy I would have it hemmed and it would be perfect. Which I did consider, but going into TX summer I wouldn't get much wear out of it. Overall 9/10 super cute but maybe better on taller gals.

The color and look is great, but for me unfortunately the top when snapped closed was just too tight. I wouldn't recommend this one to anyone who has a larger chest.
