This dress did not disappoint. I had been eyeing on RTR for a while and decided to rent it for my cousin's wedding in Vermont. A few things you should know before renting. The 'regular' size is quite long. I was wearing heels (I think about 3.5 inches) and the hemline still skimmed the ground (I'm 5'6"). I'm a huge fan of one-shoulder dresses, and this one is more like a strapless than a one shoulder. The strap is two separate pieces and doesn't stay situated on the arm like many photos show (I think people-including me-would place the fabric there just before taking a photograph!). I ended up bunching the two pieces and placing it over my shoulder. That being said, I didn't regret renting this dress. The pattern is absolutely stunning and was perfect for a summer wedding.

The dress was a comfortable shift dress. The colors are vibrant, and the embroidery is quality. I got many compliments on this dress that I wore to a backyard wedding. I had two complaints. First, the dress was on the shorter side. I started with wedges on but decided to put flats on to make it more appropriate. I would say I'm of average height, and the dress was definitely short. Secondly, the arm holes are quite large and lead to some gapping. My bra could be seen in several photos as a result. If I owned this dress, I would definitely have the size of the arm holes taken in. That being said, given the price of this rental, I don't regret renting it.

I loved it! I rented this dress for a summer barn wedding in Vermont. I was hoping to couple it with a pair of cowboy boots for a Tami Taylor (Friday Night Lights anyone?!) look, but the lace and elegance of the dress was too nice to be worn with my boots…which isn't necessarily a bad thing! I fall between a size 8 and a 10 and ended up wearing the 10 because the lace arms on the 8 didn't have much give. The color is absolutely stunning, and I received many compliments. I was sad to see the night end and have to return it! I would definitely rent this one again.
