I did a last-minute rental for a family celebration (bar mitzvah) -- I needed something classy, modest, and appropriate for a morning service and late-afternoon/evening party. This dress fit the bill, but the only size available was 2. I think I would have gone smaller if possible -- the fit was fairly roomy throughout the torso and hips. Nonetheless, I felt appropriately and festively dressed for an early-autumn occasion in this deep burgundy color. The lace has a lovely, intricate pattern, and though it did appear a bit worn (fuzzy/a few threads poking out) in places, it wasn't noticeable enough to cheapen the overall look.

I rented these earrings to add sparkle to a simple, burgundy-colored dress, and they looked beautiful -- classy but with a bit of an edge. In person the earrings are fairly large and heavier than I expected, and I found that the earring backs were not sturdy enough to keep the earrings on securely. I worried all night about losing one! Everything turned out fine, but if you rent these, I'd recommend supplying some backs that have a larger diameter that can support the weight of the stones.

This dress worked for me. I was nervous after reading all the reviews but decided to take the plunge -- and I loved it. Yes, it's super-fitted throughout but the ruching means it's not skin-tight. (I wore Spanx). Easy to dance in, a gorgeous soft gold color (not too glitzy/flashy), and a very flattering square neckline that highlights the shoulders and collarbones. My boyfriend wants me to buy this dress.

The dress is beautiful but frankly I was a tiny bit disappointed in the quality of craftsmanship -- the hems were a little uneven (you can even see in the picture of the model that they are a little wonky). The dress doesn't really have a shape without the sash tied, so I ended up wearing the 4 rather than the 2 solely for reasons of length -- I thought the 2 was surprisingly short. Nonetheless, the fabric feels great and flowy, the silver print is gorgeous, and with the waist cinched in with the sash, it's a great dress for dancing.

I loved this dress -- wore it to a June wedding and it was perfect for dancing, very comfortable, no special undergarments required. Great light fabric but the embroidery feels substantial without being heavy. Definitely a summer/nautical feel that might not be as good now that fall is here.
