I actually rented this as a gift to my best friend--a new mom with not a lot of time for dress shopping. She has an athletic, slender build and is a petite 5'2, 100 lbs. She looked absolutely stunning and said that she loved wearing it. Her husband and friends said she looked beautiful (which she clearly is). It made me so happy to do this for her and I know RTR has a new fan!

The dress was light and silky and hung beautifully--far more beautiful in person. Since the fit of the dress isn't designed to be tight, it's perfect for a wedding or any other long event where you'll be eating or moving quite a bit. I really loved it and will likely be renting it again!

For my brother's late-summer Berkeley, CA wedding I was one of four girls to carry the chuppah and stand throughout the ceremony with the bride and groom. I paired it with tan leather gladiator flats to keep my look consistent with the low-key California vibe of the wedding. I couldn't have been happier with the look and feel of the dress--it was so lightweight and comfortable with beautiful movement--and (most importantly) I never had to fidget with my straps or tug up/down on it to make sure everything was in place. A couple different girls told me that this was the sort of dress they always had in mind but were never able to find in stores. Also worth mentioning that RTR provided awesome service throughout the process even though I was a nightmarish customer (after I placed my dress order, I decided to totally change both dresses and then--like 3 days before the event--changed the delivery address from NYC to San Francisco). I didn't have any great pictures of the dress itself so sorry for the picstitch, hope this helps!

Because the dress came with 2 layers--the outer layer was wrap-style and then under that was a long jersey layer--it gave the option to adjust the fit and was very flattering. The fabric was so lightweight and beautiful. I paired it with opaque black tights for the chilly late summer San Francisco night and received several compliments throughout the evening.
