I have been eyeing this dress for a bit and decided to order it, even though they didn’t have my typical size (10-12). I ordered a 14 and it ended up being much more comfortable and fitting than I expected. I wish it was slightly longer but it didn’t matter too much. I loved this fabric pattern- so beautiful in person too! I'm not sure if it was the cut or the size, but the dress was too big on me and looked a bit awkward, as the neck strap is not adjustable and then causes the sides and back to droop down. Also, not the greatest if you want to hide your midsection, as the ruffles actually frame around your stomach so it kind of highlights any bumps.

I have had great luck with Shoshanna dresses in the past, as they run true to size. This fabric was so rich and the print was whimsical and perfect for an end of summer wedding. I was nervous with this dress as it was not available in my back up size, but it ended up being very well-fitting on me and SO comfortable. It is a little more conservative than I am used to but without looking like a "grandma" dress- the skirt was fun and twirly on the dance floor at the wedding I went to. The only negative I would say would be that I wish there were more colors of this dress, as it was a spring wedding, and I wish I had gone more with a brighter colored dress. Although I did get multiple comments on this one!

I loved this dress in the pictures and usually don't go for this cut of a dress, which unfortunately it lived up to the reason why- the cut of the dress with the skirt that goes out at the waist just made my hips look huge and it was not flattering for my particular body type. The print is really pretty in person though and so is the blue color of the dress! I'd recommend sizing down, as the top was also much to big for me, as I have more of a pear shape.

I received these earrings as part of the mystery accessory deal RTR had going. Originally they had chosen a large necklace that would've clashed with the beading detail of the dress neckline but RTR was so accommodating and sent these instead. The color is a little less turquoise and more emerald as others have pointed out but I felt they weren't too dark and still matched the turquoise of my dress. They are a bit heavy at first as I typically don't wear earrings day-to-day but I got used to them fairly quickly. Another great RTR experience!

This dress has been on my list of favorites to rent for some time now and a casual country wedding in Vermont was the perfect place to try it out! I am typically a 6 in most dresses but have found that Lilly dresses with this cut (shift style) tend to run a little large for me, especially in the torso. Therefore I am glad I sized down as the 4 fit perfectly and was so comfortable to dance in! I saw an earlier customer on RTR that had worn this dress with a cute pair of Jack Rogers sandals and they definitely match very well together. I chose a pair that was like a light metallic silver to match. I also took a chance on the mystery accessory for $15. I was surprised the stylists chose a necklace for this dress and was able to very easily call and have it changed in time before they shipped it out...luckily in my invoice they showed what the accessory was, as this dress does not need a necklace due to the very pretty beading all along the neckline. The earrings which then came with this dress were the perfect compliment! I received many positive comments and compliments on this dress. The bride even said that she had to have it and asked where I got it!

I rented a dress before made from a light satin fabric with a very similar polka dot print and loved the version of this dress, wanting to rent it for some time now. My boyfriend loved how the dress looked for the wedding we attended this past weekend. The only thing I may have changed was that it was a little heavier weight of fabric than I anticipated for the hot weather we had so I was a bit warm in it. It's a fun dancing dress and is very flattering on your body, not being too tight. The bottom of the skirt rode up a little whenever I sat down and I needed to adjust from time to time but I didn't find it troublesome.

I have to say first of all, that I have never had a bad experience with RTR and this was no different. I originally had ordered this dress in a size 6 and 8 (I tend to average about a size 6 in dresses so far). When I got the dress the day before my friend's wedding the 6 was way too baggy through my upper body and bust. I called RTR and they immediately solved the issue, overnighting a dress for free and even making sure to put a note in for early delivery. I couldn't have been happier. I got many compliments on the dress and I felt so great wearing it! It's the perfect dress for a spring/summer wedding and was fun to dance in too. An additional note- seeing as I have so many weddings for the past two years to attend, I joined RTR Pro and couldn't be happier- highly recommend if you're planning multiple events!

I had my eye on this dress and decided to wear it for the after party for the Marine Corps Ball. I loved the interesting neckline and the color in person. Like some previous reviewers, I found the one side of the dress to stick out a little awkwardly and even with fashion tape, it didn't hold for long. It wasn't something I needed to constantly address though and I still loved wearing this dress. It is a very flattering dress too and holds you all in and flatters your curves. I have always wanted to try a Hervé Leger dress and decided my friend's bachelorette party in Atlantic City was the perfect time to try one out...I have no regrets! I was a little nervous the dress would bunch in the wrong places despite the reviews saying it sucks you in...well they were right! The medium was a little baggy so I tried my luck with the small and was so happy with the results! The dress is definitely tight but made me feel so great and it was very flattering. I got many compliments on it. The color is more like a dark purpley blue in person. You can obviously tell it is well made and I would recommend this dress a thousand times over! I loved the color of this dress and the shape made for a very flattering fit. I was worried RTR wouldn't include the belt, as others who rented said it was missing, however, on both the sizes I chose (8 and 4) the belts were there and in good condition. You do have to be careful with the belt though, as the material of the dress is so delicate that it can get snagged on the belt. Luckily this didn't happen very often and only while dancing. The only downside I had to this dress was that it was a little shorter than I am used to wearing and I was a little nervous throughout the night about spinning while dancing or getting caught in a breeze. I'm 5'7 and it was well above my knees! If you are taller than 5'7 I may not recommend this dress. The size 4 luckily fit me, as the 6 was unavailable and the 8 was way too big. I'm usually a 6-8 in dresses. All in all this was a very stylish and fun dress for the wedding I attended and I got many many compliments!

I loved the look of this dress...the pattern was very fun and based on the reviews, I knew the fabric would be very smooth and comfortable. I agree with others who have had their "Marilyn Monroe moment" because it happened to me with the skirt flying up with just the slightest breeze haha but luckily only my boyfriend noticed. I made sure to hold down the skirt but if its even more than a slight breeze, I wouldn't recommend wearing this to an outside event at all! Luckily mine was indoors. I usually wear a size 6-8 but the 6 was unavailable so I took my chances and ordered the 8 and 4. The 8 was a little big so I got worried but was able to fit into the 4, surprisingly. There was definitely no room left but that was ok because the dress was flattering and didn't feel tight at all!! Plus I didn't have to keep pulling up the dress while dancing. The smaller size 4 may not fit women who have a wider rib cage or torso as the top of the dress does not stretch much. The necklace came as a free addition with my coupon and I got many compliments on both items from RTR. I would definitely recommend this dress for any INDOOR event.. You won't be disappointed!

This dress is gorgeous and was very flattering. I was lucky it came on time because of the hurricane delay. While I ordered both a Medium and a Large, the Large is the only one that came in the shipment due to the delay I'm sure. However, I'm glad because it fit very well. The straps were slightly loose in the back but if you wear your hair down it didn't make a difference at all. The medium size would've probably fit in the shoulders better. I got many compliments on this dress and my boyfriend LOVED it! I wore it to the afterparty of the Marine Corps Ball and all he kept saying was "you have to buy this dress" haha so this may be a repeat rental for me :) ! It was my first rental experience and for all the craziness with the hurricane I was so pleased with the effort that RTR put in to get me my dress on time.
