Wayyyyy too tight!
I was expecting to really love this dress after seeing it in the Las Vegas showroom - the color is absolutely amazing! I tried it on at the showroom and decided I could deal with the tightness (they only had a size 8 in stock), but the dress definitely was too tight for me at a size 6. I wore this as a replacement dress for the Cushnie & Ochs At Ease Shoulder dress, which my significant other was not a fan of, and I definitely regret exchanging the two dresses. I was uncomfortable all night long, and while I loved the cutouts, the tightness was just not worth it. Definitely not forgiving and you need to have a fit/athletic body type to pull it off. Admittedly, this was toward the end of my vacation so I'm sure i put on some vacation pounds, but the dress was too tight regardless. I wore another E&J dress earlier in the week and wore a size 4 comfortably. Such a shame, because the color really is beautiful! Definitely size up (or even two) if you plan on renting this dress.

Love the old Hollywood glamour feel of this dress!
This dress definitely has an old glamour feel - pair it with red lips and you'll be channeling the 1920s! Beautiful detailing on the front, particularly with the scalloped bottom. The cap sleeves were also very comfortable. Now, the dress is backless and you have to be completely comfortable wearing it that way. My boyfriend wasn't feeling the backless look (boo hiss!) so I alternated between showing the back with my hair to the front (first picture) and wearing my leather jacket (second picture). Both looks were great, although there was definitely more of a "Wow" factor sans jacket. You will not be able to wear a standard bra, obviously, so either invest in a NuBra or if you completely forget to pack one (like I did), you will have to go sans bra. I'm also a 4/6 and the dress was slightly tight as a size 6. Again, this may be attributed to my hitting up the buffet quite a lot while I was in Vegas, but I can't be exactly sure so definitely do size up if you choose to rent!

Disclaimer: I did not end up wearing this dress and instead wore the Elizabeth & James Subtract by One sheath. This dress is beautiful and I absolutely regret switching it out for the E&J sheath! First off, I ordered the size 8 because I truly wanted to wear this dress and it was the only size available for the weekend. I figured worst case scenario, I'd wear a too-large dress and have more room for food and drinks. Yes, this dress was loose on my 4/6 figure BUT I didn't mind it one bit. When I sat, it covered my thighs considerably because of the extra fabric, and although it is a little short, the length was fine on my 5'4" frame (a little above mid-thigh). The fabric was thick enough to be forgiving (my waist looked tinyyyy), but still thin enough where I doubt it would be uncomfortable if I had worn it all night long. It is a little low cut, but nothing too questionable. I really really really regret not wearing this dress, so don't hesitate if you're considering it!

Loved the cream version... blue not so much :(
Don't get me wrong, this is an absolutely lovely dress in every aspect and the cream version is one of my favorite rentals of all time. I loved the cream version because it gave even the most subtle tan the illusion of me having sat in the sun all day, and so I think this blue color would definitely pop a little more on tanned skin. Also, I wore a size 4 in the cream version and it fit perfectly - this size 4 was slightly tight, although that can probably be attributed to my time at the buffet... don't leave this dress for the last day of your vacation, it definitely does not have any give! It's also quite short when sitting, exacerbated by the tightness, to the point where I was slightly uncomfortable showing so much skin at a fancy restaurant. Again, size up for your backup if you're thinking of renting the dress!

Love the mesh detailing - simple but unforgettable!
I was wary about this dress, but very glad I ended up choosing it! It was definitely a simple dress with respect to typical Vegas ware, but it was beautifully simplistic and the mesh panelling was very well executed and showed just enough skin. I wore this dress with statement shoes and therefore chose to tone down with regard to jewelry. I order a 6 to size up, which was too large, and the dress was stretchy enough that the 4 left just enough room to move around in. Definitely a pleasant surprise!

One of my absolute favorite rentals!
This dress is absolutely gorgeous! The fabric is perfectly stretchy, thick enough that it will hide the little lumps and bumps, but thin enough to withstand a warm spring night in Vegas. The floral pattern is even more beautiful in real life and there is absolutely no need to wear jewelry because the dress is a statement piece itself. Seriously, I wish I could have kept this dress because it was a dream to wear and looked amazing on! The sizing is a little weird since it is UK sizing, but I'm a 4/6 and the 10 fit perfectly and had enough room to move around in. I ordered the 12 as a back up and it was too large.

Was not expecting to love this one, but I did!
I have a love/hate relationship with Herve Leger dresses... on the bright side, they make you look amazing. On the not-so-bright side, they make you look amazing which means you're bound to run into someone wearing another Herve when on vacation and/or your dress will be fairly worn out when you get it. This dress fit amazingly from the waist down (albeit it had some stretching and flaring on the bottom from continuous use) but the top fit horribly! I'm a 34B and the top was extremely loose, leading me to believe it was stretched out by a better-endowed lady in the past. I was so scared that I'd pop out of the top, especially since I couldn't get a NuBra for this trip and couldn't wear a bra with this dress - all in all, love how great it made me look but pay special attention to how stretched out the top appears to be in the future.

Looked amazing on my 22nd birthday!
I wore this dress on the eve of my 22nd birthday in Las Vegas (and rang in my birthday with it too)! It was a great dress, probably my second favorite dress on RTR. I was a little intimidated by the straps in front since I'm a short girl, but they worked out perfectly and allowed me to forego a fancy necklace. I paired the dress with black pumps and these beautiful teardrop earrings from J.Crew that were dark blue, so they went with the dress nicely (as the darker area is more of a purple-blue than a deep purple). The fabric, like many other girls have mentioned, is also thicker than most Herve's and is therefore much more forgiving and sucks you in even more - but not to the point that it's constricting! The dress was a little longer on me because of my height, but still ended up being sexy enough for my birthday - my boyfriend thought I looked amazing! Overall, I loved the dress and am happy I took the plunge with the intricate neckline!

Lovely dress, a little uncomfortable...
The dress has just enough oomph to really make you stand out. I love sequined/beaded dresses and was trying to find a dress similar to Badgley Mischka's Sequin Bell Sleeve Sheath (my absolute favorite RTR dress!) and stumbled across this one. It showed just enough skin with the high collar, but was still a pain to sit in - even on my short frame! We went to a hockey game in Vegas and I dressed up with the intention of going straight to dinner after the game... sitting in the stands though, I was constantly adjusting myself! (Maybe not the best choice for a sports game... I'll keep that in mind!) Overall, it was a lovely dress but didn't have nearly as much power as the BM one.

This is my favorite dress I ever rented from RTR by far!
I absolutely love this dress so much, I considered renting it again for my most recent Vegas vacation! I wore the dress in a Size 6 and though it didn't necessarily have the amount of stretch that, for some reason, I thought it would, it still ended up working amazingly! I love sequins, beads, and glittery things and this dress absolutely fulfilled all my wishes - the sleeves were flowy and not very constricting whatsoever, the length of the dress was mid-thigh, even on my 5'4" but it wasn't short to the point where I felt overexposed, because the dress is absolutely classy. I wore this to a very fancy dinner and paired it with black neutral pumps, which helped anchor the ethereal look. Overall, I would rent this dress again and again and again and again! I'm also fairly pale and got an airbrush tan for my time there. By the time I wore this dress, I had faded quite a bit but the color did not wash me out whatsoever, which I thought it would. Just a phenomenal choice for everyone!

Loved the dress, the color is beautiful and I wish I had more items to go with it - I was a little disappointed in my brown bag and red shoes combo, but I managed! The dress was a little baggy around the chest area, but other than that it fit fine - definitely more loose than other dresses, but I saw it as a "sundress" type so I was expecting it. No issues whatsoever - wish I could've kept it! :)

Wore it for my birthday night out and I had the best time and looked like a million bucks!
Wore it for my birthday night out and I had an awesome time! Everyone thought I looked good and my boyfriend loved it as well - the zipper kept getting a little stuck (even with the dress completely off my body) and it always happened at the exact same point. The dress also had less stretch than the picture implies - it still fit great, but didn't have a lot of give to it. The fold on the front was also slightly awkward, but other than that the dress looked great!
