Well, after reading all the other reviews, and looking at the dress, you've probably figured out that the dress is tight-fitting. You shouldn't wear it if you're not comfortable with the bodycon style. That being said, it doesn't actually fit small; I'm usually a 4/6 S/M and the small was fine (the medium was noticeably too big--and the material is really thick so wearing too big a size will actually make you look bigger). I'd recommend getting this dress a day before your event so you can put it on and let it stretch to your body a bit before wearing it for real.
