Beautiful, classy dress. I'd size down next time. I'm a true medium, size 6-8. 8 fit, but the armholes were a bit too large. Wore a silk cami under and it worked. I wore it for a casual evening night out with a flat sandal and gold accessories. I'm 5'4 and it was just slightly longer than ankle - closer to a maxi dress. Perfect length. I would consider buying actually in a size 6 or maybe even a 4. The waist is oversize but the belt cinches it in perfectly.

Pretty dress... good for cool weather. Didn't wear it because it was just way too thick and much warmer outside than I expected for a wedding I attended. Needs lots of fashion tape in the bust unless you are flatter chested. 34DDD and it was too much exposure- would have worked only with a minimizer bra and tape. True to size otherwise. Fully adjusts at the waist too the way the tie is designed.

Rented a Medium in this dress- it's lovely but VERY low cut. Fabric has zero stretch and doesn't' cover the bust area enough in addition to being too low. Tape probably wouldn't even have worked. I'd rent again if I had another event, but I'd size up to a large. You can fully adjust the waist to be as tight as you need so sizing up won't hurt the figure at all. It's a little more "special occasion" than I expected. It's fully lined, not as much movement as I expected. Would look nice with silver strappy heel and accessories.

Fit is true to size but 5'4 and over should not be in a petite. Did not end up wearing... ordered a Petite due to the reviews. I am 5'4 and it seemed that most people needed a petite or it was way too long even with a stiletto. Wish I didn't do that! The petite was way too short without any shoes at all. Very low cut but with some fashion tape, it would lay perfect. It also only needs a regular bra and no- need for spanx! The fabric is pretty thick, stretchy, forgiving and has lovely rushing in the right spots.

Perfect little fall bag. Wore this to dinner with a brown silk maxi and grey sweater and daytime with wide leg pants and a t-shirt. Works perfectly for day and night. Wouldn't buy it though as it's annoying to get in and out of with the drawstring and has zero organization for everyday. It's also a bit too big/clunky and wide to wear cross-body. Totally worth a rent if you want to use a nice little brown bag for a pop of brown and suede.
