Ok first off, I made a mistake in not checking the projected weather when I ordered this dress. It is definitely made from a heavier material and I would not recommend for summer/warmer weather events. However, it's a truly stunning dress, very well-made, and the colors and designs of the embroidery are beautiful. I wanted something with sleeves and found they were comfortable without being too snug, and I had room at the shoulders to put my arms up while dancing. I found the length just right, a little shy of knee length but still appropriate for a more formal wedding; I was surprised by how much the skirt came up while I was on the dance floor given how heavy the material was, so if you like to jump around maybe be aware of that!

The color of this dress is just as rich in person as it is in pictures, which was a huge draw for me! The material felt nice, not too heavy but substantial enough that I didn't worry it would become sheer. I don't usually go for things with a high neckline, but I thought it sat in a flattering place. Unfortunately, I don't think this dress works as well without more defined curves than I currently possess. The waistline fell at the right place, but it didn't go straight across which was unflattering on my. Additionally, the sleeves had buttons to close at the wrist that were snug to the point that I was worried it would become uncomfortable during a longer event. Ultimately, I ended up going with my backup dress for the event, but this would be a good choice for someone who is looking for a cute dress with a more conservative neckline for an office or work party, or even a wedding in a religious setting. I could see this been a great most-weather dress, as it didn't feel extremely heavy.
