Go for normal size
I have a long torso so I went up a size for this, but turned out to be unnecessary. Too big, so I didn't wind up wearing.

It just didn't fit...short and wide? The denim was super hard and it wasn't comfortable or flattering.

I think if you are slender and have a small bust this would be cute, but I couldn’t get it on and even if I could have it would have looked weird on my build.

I loved this and would definitely rent again! The shoulders/armpits were a bit snug on me, but workable. The fabric feels great and it lays super nicely. No wrinkles after traveling!

Not flattering and a little sheer
I wore it to brunch, but not a huge fan. The bust area cut off in a way that wasn’t flattering on my body and the rest of the dress was quite sheer. I wound up wearing a slip under.

Not sure if the pair I got was a bit stretched out, but they were quite generous in size, plus stretchy waist. I’d definitely rent again, just a size down!

I liked this, but with my long torso, it was just too short and not flattering to wear the way I hoped to. I was able to wear it over a tank and it looked cute for a trip to a neighborhood restaurant, but couldn't use it for work as I had planned.

Wore this a few times and really loved it! Washed nicely, a little wrinkly after traveling with it. Cute design and I'll definitely order more Marine Layer in the future. Full price a little more than what I'd want to pay to keep.
