This dress was designed by someone who truly understands the female body. When I put it on it fit like a glove and I could tell the way the chest and asymmetrical skirt were structured that it would fit a range of hip and bust measurements. A size 6r runs small and fit my waist at 27.5 inches snugly. It looked perfectly fitted, but I did need some help zippering it up. I would size up if your waist is even a half inch bigger than that. The bust fit perfectly and I am a 36c. My hips are wider compared to the rest of my frame at 36 inches, but the way the skirt is structured was flattering and could probably have been fine if I was +- 1-2 inches of that. With all of this said I got compliments all night and this dress was so flattering I am considering purchasing. Was perfect with a 2 inch chunky heel.

This dress felt sophisticated and fun. Got a bunch of compliments on the gown. The color was great. The pockets were convenient. I am usually a 6, so you might consider sizing up for your free 2nd size. I am a 32d so if you are more endowed I could see it becoming a tight fit. I am 5'5" and had to wear three inch heels to make the 8r gown just brush the floor. Short would have been perfect for flats or lower heels.
