LOVE!
Dresses always run tight in my ribcage, but the 8 fit perfectly without being too large in other areas. I didn't find myself pulling up the top at all while dancing, and the rouching around the waist made it extremely flattering. The fabric was thick, but not uncomfortable. Would rent again.

Meh.
I wanted to like these, but they were just OK. Upon initial try-on, the fabric had no give and they were tight. After wearing them for a bit, they stretched out. I didn't think they were terribly flattering or unique.

This dress was a last resort for a formal wedding - I had no other "formal" options so I ended up having to wear it. The fabric had no give and was so tight in the rib cage - sitting down for dinner was tough, but even standing and dancing was less than ideal. Aside from the lack of give in the ribs, the 6 was otherwise kind of large? I could have used some fashion tape on the top (I could not fill it out) and the pockets made the sides a bit wide. The "train" was a little long, but not unbearable with 2" heels (I'm 5'4"). I got a ton of compliments on the dress despite being wildly uncomfortable in it, so there's that!

Better than expected
This was my last option for a black tie wedding as my requested dress was no longer available and the other back up options didn't fit. It was more flattering than I expected, and the length was great (I'm 5'4" and wore sandals on the dance floor without the dress dragging). Consistent with the other reviews, TAPE IS NECESSARY! I am smaller busted so i probably could have sized down as it was a bit large in the bust. But all in all, a fine back up option for this event.

Business in the front, party in the back
I sized up as I typically do with Elizabeth & James - I find these dresses tend to run tight around my ribs. The area under the armpits ended up being a bit wide, but the tie in the back tightened that right up. The dress was comfortable and perfect for twirling on the dance floor all night long. The back tie was a great detail on an otherwise plain dress. Not my favorite rental, but a nice option for this event.

glitter glam
this romper was SO FUN to wear for my 30th birthday party! the size 4 fit perfectly (i typically size up in dresses) & i did not spend the night adjusting. as some other reviewers noted, the boning in the sides of the romper was a bit uncomfortable (definitely had a scab on my left side by the end of the night which was totally worth it). the built in bustier was great & allowed me to wear a strapless bra without worrying if it would show. this romper was a knock out - i would definitely rent this again!

sassy & comfortable
i rented this dress as a back up for my birthday dinner. i don't typically wear anything tight, but i really loved this dress. i felt comfortable in it all night (even after indulging in a 3 course meal)! the other reviews are right - the fabric is tight & the neckline is PLUNGING (they must have done some great tape work on the model)! i spent far too much time trying to safety pin the fabric together and the result was still a lot of cleavage & the inability to wear a bra. i highly recommend this dress if you're looking for something comfortable and sexy!

so cute, but all wrong.
this dress runs SMALL especially if you have remotely athletic arms/shoulders. the mid-section of the dress fit fine, except i could not move my arms AT ALL. the fabric has ZERO give. i doubt sizing up another size would have helped make this dress wearable. also, the other reviews are right - it runs SUPER short (even being a short person)! i love shoshanna, but definitely not their best work.

bright bright bright
i received this dress as an emergency back up for a bridal shower. the other reviews are right - the color is NEON but i totally loved it, and everyone else at the shower seemed to, too! the only size i received was the 8 - it ended up being a little baggy on its own, so i added a braided gold belt. i usually size up because i find the rib area on dresses confining - the dress was still comfortable after eating/drinking. it does run longer - i'm 5'4" and it hit right above the knee. i skipped the heels and wore flats anyway. i was sad to send this one back.

sassy & classy
The idea of a cut-out dress really made me uncomfortable, but this dress was AMAZING! The 4 was a little in the bottom section - I ended up pinning the skirt so it wouldn't dip down my back. I really liked that I was able to wear a strapless bra with the dress. It was so comfortable all night long, I was upset when I had to send it back!

super comfortable bridesmaid dress!
I wore this as my bridesmaid's dress for a friend's wedding & could not have been happier! The dress was light & perfect for the hot August wedding. I probably could have gone with a 2 in the dress, but the 4 was comfortable for eating, drinking, & dancing. The pockets were an added bonus!
